#MyHiveGoals - 25,000 HP In The Bank!
It's a celebration!
I need to share with you guys a quick little history lesson of this blockchain and what it means to me personally, to hit a 'Hive goal'.
When I first joined this blockchain, it was known as something different. And we really didn't have many choices for front ends. In fact, the one that everyone seemed to use was called - Steemit.
When I joined, the token price was like 4 bucks or something per token. Just insanity when you look at where we are now. But back then, the ability to grow your account while wasn't impossible, took some clever strategies.
And why did we want to grow our account so much?
Well on Steemit, it was for....The slider!
All you OG blockchain people know what I'm referring to. Once you hit 500 'Hive Power', you unlocked this slick little slider on the front end application that allowed you to give percentages of a full upvote away. I know, that's crazy talk now, but back then, without the slider...Every vote you gave was a full 100% upvote.
Anywho....My goal, my first goal here was to hit 500 powered up tokens! And at 4 dollars a token, it seemed like an uphill battle for me in my then financial and professional situation. But I stuck to it...
Fast forward, almost 9 years later and I have once again hit another goal that I set for myself this year....
Let's dive into that and everything else in this weeks #myhivegoals post;
25,000 Hive Power
I didn't think I'd hit this today, but I was able to get some liquid Hive and pass my target...
25,073.656 Hive Power and counting...
Disclaimer, this isn't the first time I've hit 25k. So obviously, I'm still shooting for more. But it feels good to once again be at this level. I always thought, this blockchain really starts to open up for you around these levels, so now I have a new target in mind.
50k is the new target, and today I'm more than half way there. I was able to add about 15,000 Hive in less than 6 months. So let's see how the next 6 months can go....I'll shoot for 50k by December 31st of this year!
Another awesome number that I track to gauge how I'm growing is the k/e ratio...Last week I was at 4.04 and now I'm sitting below 4 at 3.97!

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone
I've been labelled a lot of things on Hive 😂 by the biggest farmers scammers and downvoters
Actions speak louder than any words do especially when them words are coming from a compolsive liars
