Yesterday morning I was back at the stain to try once more. I hauled along the Diatomaceous earth this time to give a whirl. This was the stain when I walked up to it.
DE scrubbed in a few times.
And this was how I left it. I feel it is rather good now and is quite light.
Then I got to drive through the Old Trails fire damage area. A couple of the houses that burned along Indian Trail as the fire swept up towards 5 Mile bluff.
New client has a HUGE master walk in closet that had the shelves up all around. Took me a good bit to get all the attachment pieces removed as they were nails in expansion sleeves. I had to be careful to pry gently and even then a few left bigger scars than I had hoped. Also removed from the baby's normal size closet. Filled all the holes with filler, then went back and painted them all. It was 3 hours in all. I go back today for tv mount and play pen assembly.
New housing development and they have only been in the house a couple month. They had been in Louisiana and had been hit by a hurricane then moved to Spokane and had to evacuate for the fire.
Looking out to the west towards where the fire started.
At Strong and Indian Trail the airplane dropped retardant had painted the condos and the road. Even the stop light is now pink, VERY pink. BUT the structures were saved.
Back home I got another basket of potatoes dug, washed, and drying on the deck.
We all headed to the casino in Airway Heights for the concert and went into the food court to get food.
Rome had played first and we heard some of them but made it to our seats to catch about half of Ocean Alley.
THEN 311 came on and it is amazing how well Nick Hexum's voice has aged. He still sounds just like he did on the albums from 30+ years ago. Played a bunch of their greatest songs!
Dirty Heads then played and did some of their greatest songs as well. Super cool venue, super easy to get in, the bass was good and heavy, and the winds kept the air moving and cooler.
It was about 11pm before we were heading to the car then had the 45 minute drive home. Getting out of the parking lot was super mellow and the drive home near the same.
I was in the bathroom when all of a sudden this big barn spider ran along the wall and started rappelling next to me. She had gotten between the fan and the window and when I opened the window she bolted inside. I grabbed her web and headed for the kitchen door when the web cut and she fell on the kitchen floor. I managed to catch some of her web and then carried her outside. Glad we don't have black widows here and just big ass barn spiders.
Not a ton of sleep this morning but here we go. It was not cool last night and is just now to the low of 64F as the sun comes up. I have to go back to my new client's house today to install a tv mount and put together a play pen for his baby. Work in the garden after, do spreadsheet input, make dinner, and hookup trailer for grain tomorrow morning.

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
