Evening run
Hi all, welcome to my running blog!
Today a short and easy run right after dinner, my kids have 2 days off from school so it is a little bit more puzzling to find some me time, but we will find a way :)
Since last week there is quite a strong wind here in the Netherlands, which makes running a lot more fun to be honest, additional benefit is that despite the sun there are not a lot of other people outside so you can just be alone with your thoughts.
While I am still in my off season block I try to do around 50 weekly kilometers. Next week I will be able to register for the Spijkenisse Marathon at 30th of November. Here I will be a pacer for helping my friends reach their 4:00:00 time goal. So I will just take it easy on that event.
While it is definitly fun to help my friends, I am also considering another marathon in the same period so I can also challange myself. I am still undecided on running Amsterdam for a 3th time (and try to go faster) or challange myself differently by doing a longer distance (>60 km runs) regardless, I feel fully charged and am really looking forward to start a new trainingsblock in June!
Happy running!
Running in the breeze is strong if the breeze is in the opposite direction, you feel like it stops you
Yeah! At times you really have to lean into the wind not to fall 😅
