It was night that belonged to Moon 🌙

Date; 28 June 2025

Exams were going on. Last exams of degree and then we were about to enter in the professional life where life will take exam of us on day to day basis.

Amidst all these worries of exams, we, four friends, made plan to have a dinner together. Having dinner together and cracking jokes, sharing thoughts is our love language.

Anita and Arshia reside a little far from our hostels. They reside in Rawalpindi area and we, three, live in university hostels.
On that particular day, we three went to Rawalpindi in front of their hostels. I remember the fine gesture of Anita that she was standing with "sohan halwa[dessert]" in her hands. I had three full spoons of it with radiating energy and smile coz i love having Sohan Halwa. From now on, we have become five. Five creatures walking together and searching for a good restaurant to sit together and to share together.

Tak Tak Tak (Heal sound) and voices of us in the air!
Air Cooler(a type of air conditioner) was also making sound and we entered into the "Anarkali Restaurant". By the way, the character of Anarkali is extremely famous in Mughal history. It is said that she was courtesan (tawaif) and she was lover of Mughal Prince Salim who later became King with title "Jahangir". Their love came to an end when Mughal Emperor Akbar executed her by immurement.

Well, we got nice seats to sit and spend some quality time together. A waiter approached us with a menu card in his hand.

Suggestions......and.....Arguments.
See, we decided our order. It was serving of two persons and costly at the same moment. Though waiter told us that this quantity wouldn't be enough for us but we were sure that we gonna make it.

Ranting session was on top. Flex and fancy conversations were also dominating the discourse. Basit Ali paid bills and we walked out.

Miserably elegant ✨️!

Muharam processions were going on the road. Roas were securitized for the safety of processions. We walked out from procession area and entered a shop where we found some toys.

Pretty little baby 🐤.

Chai is a must thing in every situation. We start our day with tea and ends it with a nice tea along with conversation about raw and mundane lifestyle.

To have tea, we went to Quetta Cafe. If you ever get a chance to visit Pakistan, you will see Quetta Cafes in every city of Pakistan.

It was the night that belonged to Moon. All of us shared Urdu poetry with each other. It was the night of all of us and of the moon.

Hello, @tahastories1 friend, you’ve described that evening so beautifully… and I really liked how you arranged the photo. 😂 Let me tell you why… Just imagine how brutal that Mughal Emperor Akbar was, executing her in such a way. And then you go and place her portrait staring at all that food… blimey! Poor woman, it’s like a second punishment—after death! I’m just joking hahaha… forgive me, it was the first thing that came to mind.
But seriously, I really loved it, as I said, the way you wrote it is wonderful. I can truly sense so many details from your culture. Thank you for sharing.
