@temmylade, what's that something adulthood taught you that childhood never prepared you for?

To be an adult is never a joke. Being an adult loads you with so much,

I mean an uncountable responsibilities, some are juicy while some others are very bitter pills you will wish to vomit out totally and rinse your mouth and tongue with water or sweet juice, yet you can not do that. At adult stage,

"everyone bear their own cross"

You must drink the bitter pills, as bitter as vinegar......

My young and unmarried ladies, I'm not instigating fears into your minds.... oooo 😂,

Nope...,but this is a realistic situation, every to be mothers, must go through, none negotiable.....period !

Mine is child bearing;
as a girl child growing up, everything you needed were provided by others, either your parents, or relatives. You were just there, enjoying your life, looking very beautiful, taking very good care of yourself...

You would never know there's a bitter pills of pregnancy, gestation period and the most painful and complicated of them all is "the push...day!"

As a young girl gets married from traditional marriage to your white wedding, you are the talk of town.

Every other girls around you wants to be you, your husband is extremely excited, you too is extremely excited, dancing and rejoicing.

After wedding you look up to getting pregnant, some will be over selective of what to eat or drink during pregnancy, depending on how it shows up with, because every child you may give birth to has their different ways of showing up.

Some will have some complications, while some others will yet through their gestation period of nine months without any complications.

From that moment the baby in your womb is preparing to manifest into this world, you will actully know that this is of cause the real separation from childhood to adulthood.

"the things that adulthood is teaching you, that your childhood never taught you has appeared" 😂

This is a long route journey you as a woman must go through all alone without anyone taking it over from you.

The doctors and good nurses may try to pet you, console you, even your beloved husband can give you anything at that moment or may promise you lots of goodies,

Yes, but nobody can stop the crampings, pains and the father of them all,

"the push section"

No matter how wealthy, rich or poor any woman is, only her will go through the pains of "the push syndrome".

Even if you are going to do it through caesarean section, it's still on the women's precious, pampered body it will go through.

After that, when she start going through the healing process of her caesarian section of cut up body.

To me, this is the most unseen and unknown senerio adulthood has taught me and every mothers that their childhood never knew that was coming with it's full weight.

I invite, @tigrace, @ivyann, @happy08 to join this conversation.

Thank you for this exceptional question.

That's correct! Adulthood comes with great responsibility, it's when you stepped into it that you'll understand.

Thanks for the invite.
