I’m typing this with anger in my spine. Corruption has eating deeper into the very soul of humanity. Hacking, stealing, bribery, manipulation and injustice is the order of the day.
In a world so corrupt, you have to be brave and strong to survive. It’s a dog eat dog world out there. There’s no morals, values or principles anymore. The only way people know to succeed is to do whatever it takes to get ahead. It’s a society where only the strongest and the smartest survive. Our smallest mistake could cost us more than we can afford.
The director won’t give you a contract unless you pay upfront. The bank won’t give you a loan unless you surrender a certain percentage of the loan. The man supervising the contract won’t give you a job unless you grease his palm. The accounting department won’t issue your payment voucher or cheque unless you scratch back.
It’s as if the world has gone blind, deaf and dumb. Nobody seems to care that there’s so much wrong going on around us. We are so comfortable in our ignorance that we don’t even notice when evil takes over our world. But the problem is nobody has a voice, if you think otherwise, people think you’re sick and not normal. If you try to stand in their way, you put your life in danger, you may even get killed for speaking up against a corrupt system and there’s no justice to seek redress against the perpetrators. It’s the justice of the highest bidder.
As for corruption, it’s everywhere. The police are out of control. The courts can’t be trusted. And every week another so-called holy man is arrested for scandalous charges. Police are seizing millions of money from motorists, judges want kickbacks for favorable verdicts and so called holy men can’t be trusted to keep their hands off young girls.
The world is corrupt. Money is the only thing people care about, they are not happy unless they have billions and billions of dollars. Often this makes people do things they wouldn’t normally do. We live in a world that’s different from our imagination. This world where people become “less human”, sell their dignity, respect, self esteem. Everyone is desperate for money, they can kill anyone and anything that’s in the way of their money.
In this wicked world, money is everything to the majority of people. This is a world that teaches how to steal, lie, cheat and kill to get ahead. Where your own family members will sell you out for money. Try to start a project for the benefit of all in your village, everyone in the village will fight to get into your pocket. The Carpenters, the brick layers, the Mason, the village leaders, government representatives and even your blood brother who supervised the work for you will not spare your pocket. Where do we

I feel the anger and it is justified this is one messed up world we live in, however there are pockets of hope, beams of light and compassion in some peoples heart.
We have to choose personally do we add to the chaos or be the ones that draw people from it.
There is plenty good about people and the world we just have to search the mire to find it which is not pleasant or easy to do.

Yes, there is much corruption and evil, but individually we always have a choice to either continue the darkness, or to become a light in that darkness. Everything that has been done in the shadows will come to the light of collective awareness. That's what's happening now at an ever-accelerating rate. The world isn't getting darker, the darkness that was always there is being brought to the surface. I will say, that despite outward appearances, that things are changing and shifting in extremely good ways, though things will likely get a bit bumpy as this process progresses. The bumps will be very well worth it, however. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

A materialistic approach is slowly transforming us from humans into something unrecognizable, even monstrous. This isn't a sudden shift; we began ignoring ethics in favor of materialism long ago, and now, that choice is hurting us deeply.
Yet, many people still hold onto their hearts, valuing ethics and genuine care for others. I agree with @tydynrain: the choice is always ours. Whether we choose to do good or bad is a personal decision. To build a better world for future generations, we must teach them the value of care, compassion, unity, and sacrifice.
While money is important for a peaceful life, it should never be an excuse for dishonesty or theft. I see people every day who struggle financially but remain truly happy, while others with great abundance rarely find a reason to smile.
Our little efforts and care can start changing things, so let's start from ourself and spread love and peace.
