Frases populares del habla hispana.
En Venezuela existen varias frases que utilizamos coloquialmente pero normalmente desconocemos la procedencia de la mayoría de estas.
In Venezuela, there are several phrases that we use colloquially, but we are usually unaware of the origin of most of them.
El día de hoy vamos a hablar de la famosa frase;
"El problema es que los estúpidos están seguros de todo mientras que los inteligentes están llenos de dudas"
"The problem is that stupid people are sure of everything, while intelligent people are full of doubts."
Esta frase es atribuida al filósofo y matemático británico Bertrand Russell si bien esta es una cita que se le adjudica comúnmente a una versión parafraseada de una idea que expresó en un ensayo escrito en el año 1933 el título de este ensayo es "El Triunfo De La Estupidez".
This phrase is attributed to the British philosopher and mathematician Bertrand Russell, although it is commonly attributed to a paraphrased version of an idea he expressed in an essay written in 1933 entitled "The Triumph of Stupidity."
La cita original de Russell es "la causa fundamental del problema es que en el mundo moderno los estúpidos son engreídos mientras que los inteligentes están llenos de dudas", con el tiempo la cita de esta escritora ha sido simplificada y adaptada dándole lugar a la versión más popular que se conoce hoy en día.
Russell's original quote is "the fundamental cause of the problem is that in the modern world the stupid are conceited while the intelligent are full of doubts." Over time, this writer's quote has been simplified and adapted, giving rise to the more popular version known today.
A mí personalmente se me hace bien interesante conocer el principio de cosas como estas ya que hay muchísimas frases que desconocemos su procedencia de conocemos su valor auténtico y el por qué soy ese tipo de personas que aún investiga y cuestiona muchísimas cosas para conocerte a dónde viene y hacia dónde irá y no solo con frases dibujos y pinturas en la vida en sí hay muchas cosas que si conociéramos su significado tendríamos una vida con mucho más valor ya que cada una de estas pequeñas cosas tendría un significado mucho más relevante.
Personally, I find it very interesting to know the origin of things like this, since there are many phrases whose origin we do not know, but we know their true value and why. I am the type of person who still investigates and questions many things to find out where they come from and where they are going, and not only with phrases, drawings, and paintings. In life itself, there are many things that, if we knew their meaning, would make our lives much more valuable, since because each of these little things would have a much more relevant meaning.
Es bastante interesante notar que otro escritor expresó un sentimiento similar aunque un contexto más específico este escritor se llama Charles Bukowski, este escritor en el año 1989 dijo la siguiente frase "El problema es que los malos escritores tienden a tener confianza en sí mismos mientras que los buenos tienden a dudar de sí mismos".
It is quite interesting to note that another writer expressed a similar sentiment, although in a more specific context. This writer is Charles Bukowski, who in 1989 said the following: "The problem is that bad writers tend to be confident, while good writers tend to doubt themselves".
Cabe destacar que algunos estudiosos de citas han rastreado un concepto parecido hasta el poeta irlandés W. B. Yeats quién en los años 1920 escribió un poema llamado La Segunda venida en donde dice;
- "los mejores carecen de toda convicción mientras que los peores están llenos de un apasionada intensidad".
It is worth noting that some scholars of quotations have traced a similar concept back to the Irish poet W. B. Yeats, who in the 1920s wrote a poem called The Second Coming, in which he says:
"The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity."
Y es donde puedo llegar al punto en el que el ser humano naturalmente tiende a asociar y a crear distintas formas de expresar nombrar sentir y expresar lo mismo el mismo sentimiento la misma analogía y esto realmente nos hace pensar mucho o a mí particularmente me pone muchas incógnitas ya que cómo es posible que en distintas épocas pudieron surgir pensamientos tan parecidos Y por qué el ser humano normalmente a cierta edad que va teniendo este tipo de conocimiento también me cuestiono como actualmente la educación de la juventud y todo este avance tecnológico con inteligencia artificial está llevando a una sociedad y grupos de personas en una dirección de solo consumismo y distracción en donde los sentimientos como estos expresados no son tan fáciles de notar sentir ver o reconocer.
And this is where I can get to the point where human beings naturally tend to associate and create different ways of expressing, naming, feeling, and expressing the same thing, the same feeling, the same analogy, and this really makes us think a lot, or at least it raises many questions for me, since how is it possible that such similar thoughts could arise in different eras? And why do human beings normally have this type of knowledge at a certain age? I also question how, currently, the education of young people and all this technological advancement with artificial intelligence is leading society and groups of people in a direction of only consumerism and distraction, where feelings such as those expressed are not so easy to notice, feel, see, or recognize.
Es por esto que quisiera invitarlos nuevamente a la reflexión y a que entendamos esta frase y que no nos dejemos dominar ya que si hace tantos años un escritor y estudiado pudo citar sobre los estúpidos y los inteligentes es hora de que nosotros sepamos en qué lado del mundo estamos.
That is why I would like to invite you once again to reflect and understand this phrase and not let ourselves be dominated, because if so many years ago a writer and scholar could quote about the stupid and the intelligent, it is time for us to know which side of the world we are on.
