Taking some time to finish some old posts, I said to myself, why talk about old things when I can keep creating something right now?

And this is what happened today. It was an impulsive thought I had, and I can call it impulsive and creative at the same time.

I want to talk about business.

But business in commerce, as you can see in the photograph, since this is located in the central shopping center of Punta de Mata. I don't think I've talked about this in any of my previous posts. I think it's so irrelevant that I simply hadn't paid attention to it, but this is something to keep in mind, something to pay attention to, since each of these gates that hide a business inside these premises tells a great story.

I am sure of the exact year this shopping center was officially opened because after its creation, this business was closed for several years until, suddenly, some clandestine merchants, or let's call them informal merchants, following an economic crisis in Venezuela, began to be seen doing business outside the establishments where they bought some products. Among these products are basic food items such as corn flour, toothpaste, toilet paper, and other everyday items. This happened around 2015 and 2016, if my memory serves me correctly. The point is that after these merchants took over several of the premises to carry out their sales, there was a lot of police attention and also attention on the street, so an agreement was reached with the mayor to integrate these people into a business, and today, little by little, this has become the town's shopping center.

Inside, there are barbershops, hair salons, some clothing stores, cell phone repair shops, hardware stores, and stores selling used items ranging from clothing to household utensils and tools. This place has everything.

This place has everything and more, I can assure you, but that doesn't mean that everything is positive, eye-catching, or pleasant. However, it reflects the daily effort and personal struggle and the culture that defines us, that desire to move forward and work to ensure a better future for our children.
