This past month, to be more exact, almost two months, I've been developing an app for some friends who live 40 km from my city and are always struggling to organize their students' information. To go into more detail, they teach private lessons in many subjects at different educational levels, so it's not easy to keep track of accounting, student assignments, and attendance.

As a good friend, I offered to create an app that would greatly simplify their work and allow them to manage it in conjunction with Firebase. At first, the biggest challenge was organizing the database because it has two important pillars: one is support and the other is payment accounting. Both important pillars are interrelated in one way or another, so once the database was well organized, I turned to React Native to develop the mobile app for Android.

This app doesn't require a login because it will simply display information that I'll use locally and in real time. There are still many visual tweaks and additional features to be implemented in exceptional cases. For now, I'm quite happy with my progress, and they're enjoying it too. This app doesn't cost anything, since I'm doing it because they're my friends, and I want them to get better at their work without having to get frustrated about not being able to remember everything that happens at their student academy.
