How could we make Liotes more fun ?

We started the Liotes project more than 5 years ago and sometimes, when you are so involved in a project, it's difficult to go outside and look at it with different eyes. We are doing a lot of work around the project but it's maybe not as much fun as it was when we started. That's why we would like to ask for your ideas:
How could we make Liotes more fun for you?
Please leave your answer as a comment below this post. Looking forward to reading them :-)
The Liotes Mission
By taking part in the Liotes missions, you can win credits that will help you to increase your score and your title in the Liotes Ranking.
People who submit an answer will get 3 credits for the Liotes ranking. If you submit more than 1 answer, you will not get more credits.
We are very grateful if you enter the challenge within 24 hours after the post is published. We will try to count entries up to 36 hours after publication.

Liotes
A project run by @ph1102 and @achim03
no idea , there are already so many contests on hive , and airdrops don't work either these days i think to make people intrested .
The discord shows on Ecency discord or any other Discord shows have trouble to find new participants .
really hard to figure a new way to get people intrested again .
Yes, it's definitely not an easy question to answer.
Not too sure about fun. I'm in because you guys seem to have something sustainable going on and also give frequent updates. 👍
It's true that this has been our principal effort so far. To keep the growth sustainable and make sure that everybody can follow what we do. The next step would to add a touch of fun to the experience :-)
liotes doesn't have an actual game element where users can play / interact. I am not sure on how that can be achieved, but that's something which can be explored.
Why not look at classic games which can be integrated with len as reward token?
Liotes as a project is doing great with curation, posts, weekly missions etc

imfarhad, you mined 0.9 🟧 HBIT and the user you replied to (liotes) received 0.1 HBIT on your behalf as a tip. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. 🏴☠️
Sorry, but you didn't find a bonus treasure token today. Try again tomorrow...they're out there! Your random number was 0.9933873986203721, also viewable in the Discord server, #hbit-wusang-log channel. | tools | wallet | discord | community | daily <>< Check for bonus treasure tokens by entering your username at a block explorer A, explorer B, or take a look at your wallet. There is a treasure chest of bitcoin sats hidden in Wusang: Isle of Blaq. Happy treasure hunting! 😃 Read about Hivebits (HBIT) or read the story of Wusang: Isle of Blaq.
That's definitely something that we had in mind from the very beginning and maybe we find a solution for that :-)
I think that those of us who are active at this time of low spirits are users already involved in various projects, that's why there is not as much interaction as before. Time and energy are limited, also for you. I think you're doing well. I take this opportunity to thank you! 🤗

Thanks a lot for your kind words :-)
I am a sad boy, not a fun boy... I have no idea about having fun here on Hive.
In the past we could have some raffle for fun, but not anymore.

A raffle could be interesting indeed.
Consistency is boring !LOLZ
I don't know. Start a side project/weekly post - joke of the week - and let users vote for the best entry ;)
!BEER
It definitely is lol
The most fun that I have on Liotes is these weekly missions. So as well as this midweek one, how about a weekend mission?
!BBH
Maybe another type of mission that would require something different, something funny :-)
Liotes has an investment stuff, maybe gamefy an investment with prizes not sure how and when hehe but it is something that maybe I will think and give some feedback. The same way that you create the challenge of power up every year.
We have quite a lot of things already but we would like to provide something that really makes people come back for it.
First, we thank you for all you do in the Liotes project, and these weekly missions are a good way to keep us involved.🤩 As for fun, nothing is coming to mind right now, but will add it when anything peeks in hehe!
Don't hesitate. It's always very welcome :-)
Liotes is one of the most solid projects on Hive, even during the bear market. Since gamification is already part of its essence, why not take it a step further?
One idea would be to create a Liotes community where members could publish content and interact with each other. To boost engagement, the best post of the week could receive extra points, helping its author climb the Liotes leaderboard. In addition to encouraging the creation of quality content, this would strengthen the community and make the experience even more dynamic.
Support engagement with a delegation to topcomment:
50HP - 100HP - 250HP - 500HP - 750HP - 1000HP - 1500HP
I like this too!
That's a great idea. From experience I know that selecting a winner is no easy feat and quite subjective but it's definitely an intersting idea.
I think Liotes is quite good with the different challenges, and weekly missions. However, I guess adding in some gamification doesn't sound bad, but I wonder if it might tire people out.
That's exactly the reason why I never wanted to create a game because it simply tiring for everybody involved and needs to be rethought regularly to keep people involved.
Well, as I learn during years here was that community contest are fuel for engagement. Funny pics, funny memes, etc. But yes, there is already a lot of contests here. Another contest, only for liotes members, maybe?
That could be something...
Yeah, but not be too intelectual :)
All I can think of is creating a game or a prediction contest—something like that—something that gets people to participate so they can try to win a prize, no matter how small, or maybe a contest where they write a piece on a topic or explain a unique idea and earn tokens or a more generous upvote—things like that.
I think that this is a great point and we should move towards that.
How about hooking up with Snapie in some way. For example, create a post with some kind of question or challenge and reward the best comment or run a prize draw for the commenters.
Also, Snapie has "Open Pods" - or rooms where we could meet and chat live. It would be a good idea to create synergistic relationships with other Hive-based projects to expand the reach of Liotes.
Are there any chess players? If so, mini chess tournaments might be fun!
Cheers!

!BBH
That would be interesting :-)
Haha maybe there could be a mini contest - best response or best 3 responses from each week get extra credits or even LEN tokens!
That's an idea that is worth thinking through...
How about some lucky draw contests? :)
Why not, thanks for the suggestion.
I've had a second thought, and I'm aware of the 1 answer rule but it's not important.
I'm aware that Liotes has been involved in small earnings from outside Hive. Which I like as a way of bringing external money into Hive.
So how about leveraging the referral income from those schemes (and many more) into a fund that can be used for the good of Hive. Or to further boost Liotes funding.
It's not a new idea, but I think we could put a spin on it that really adds to the fun of Liotes.
!BBH
That's something that we would like to leverage as well. I think we would need some more programs that are more interesting for people and that provide slightly higher returns.
Tough to top some of the ideas I've already read. That first idea from @elderdark is interesting and worth exploring in more detail. I'm not sure how you could make it work but it would be a great incentive to interact among participants, especially with so many people vanishing from Hive these days!
Exactly, we need to make sure that people stay here and have things that make them stay.
