Alive & Thriving Chooseday Thoughts : Bank Errand Day 😜|| AATYr5 || Prompt A Day 😊

Happy Chooseday 🎉 I scheduled my bank errand day today. Tomorrow is a local holiday here so banks are closed. I have work though. Really glad I work from home. 😆 Did you remember to choose happy today?

I came home late last night due to delays with my therapy. I also made a quick stop at a newly opened optical shop -- Ojo Eyewear. I've been trying to work with my old progressive lens eyeglasses, but lately I've been having trouble with it. I decided to get myself some new reading glasses alone as I use this for work.

I chose a bigger frame this time around and waited thirty minutes for the new reading glasses. I'm thankful for the free eye exams and was even more thankful for these new ones. I'd say I can read better and work even better. 😆 I will need to save up more if I were to have progressive lens as they're pretty costly (cheapest at $235). 😒

Made some steps today as I stepped out to go to the bank. I even bumped into my brother and we chatted a bit. I did manage to stop at three different banks in the end. 😆 In between, I decided to treat myself to a new dimsum restaurant that's along the bank street.

Dimsum rice noodle with shrimp. Not too expensive at $2.62. I took out an order of xiaolongbao too. It was pretty tasty for my dinner. Glad I found meals that are not too pricey. 😋 Glad my run to the banks went well.

All right, who's up for reinventing himself / herself? 😆 Well, I'm afraid that's not me at this point in my life. 😝 I must admit that having this mobility issue is a major challenge. I've been living with it for a while since Mom passed. I do wonder why I've decided to seek some reprieve from my pain only this year. I suppose I didn't think of it at once. However, the need to be self-sufficient has grown over time, and I rediscovered Wellness Sanctuary when I needed some dental service at the start of this year. Now that I've completed my five-session therapy, I feel I need more of it, and I'm willing to make time for it. I do feel better after each session. I guess you could say I'm trying to create my new reality now. 😝 Work in progress.. one task at a time.. one day at a time..

Oh boy, today was really too hot. My room temp was 36C before I turned on the cooling system. I really need to get that exhaust fan up on the bedroom wall. I do wonder when I'd get the strength to do it myself. 😆 I need it asap though as I do want the bedroom to feel cooler. 🤞🍀

I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Right now I'm less than thirty cents away from $8 on LL. Aiming for another payout soonest.

Got more advertising credits from FAFY today. I hope that gets me more earnings from promoting my LL coop link.

That's it for another day. Hopefully, tomorrow would be a slow day at work. Local holiday here. I'll be working from home though. Two work days done. Four more to go. Do have a fantastic week. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! 👋
