Hello, coffee lovers in #hive!

I'm back in my hometown, the Havana of my heart, and of course I have to go out and explore in search of new and good coffee shops; good and new coffees.
Walking down 26th Street with my wife, we came across this small establishment with the curious name of La Chela.

It's located in what used to be a car garage. They modified it so that you can enjoy outdoor seating on the exterior ramp.
But since the Cuban summer heat exceeds 35 degrees Celsius, we preferred to go inside the air-conditioned area.
It was definitely the best option. Although you can smoke outside and enjoy the view, the interior design is very pleasant.
Instead, it has a design that blends modern elements with touches of objects and rustic-looking decor.

But neither that nor its eco-friendly designs matter when it comes to a coffee shop.
What matters is the coffee.
However, when we asked for the menu, they told us everything was on their website. We just had to scan the QR code on the table.
This is the first time I've come across a coffee shop where the menu is available exclusively online.
However, it's not something that bothers or disconcerts me, but rather something that makes me happy, as I can constantly check the menu, whether I'm in the establishment or not.

This website even tells me whether they're open or not.

What did puzzle me was the price of the coffee. We know we're in the capital, that the place has a certain comfort, and that we're also in a residential neighborhood. However, while an espresso in Las Tunas costs 60.00, here it costs 200.00, just to give an example.
However, since we were excited about the place, we decided to order a side and an espresso. We hoped the quantity and quality would match the price.

The side dish was quite good and also came with a chocolate sorbet.
However, the amount was quite small for a cortadito.

However, it was already ordered and paid for. Plus, we accomplished our goal of exploring and discovering new places and new flavors.

Will we be back? Maybe. Maybe not for coffee, but certainly to try some of the beer mugs we saw on the menu.
However, I don't know why, but every time we go out for beer, we end up having coffee.

Hola, amantes del café en #hive!

Estoy de regreso en mi tierra natal la Habana de mi corazón y por supuesto que tengo que salir a explorar en busca de nuevos y buenas cafeterías; de buenos y nuevos cafés.
Caminando por la calle 26 junto a mi esposa nos encontramos con este pequeño establecimiento llamado con el curioso nombre de: La Chela.

Se encuentra ubicado en lo que era antes un garaje para autos. Lo modificaron de manera que en las rampa exterior se puede disfrutar del servicio en mesas al aire libre.
Pero como el calor del verano cubano supera los 35 grados centígrados, preferimos adentrarnos a la área climatizada con aire acondicionado.
Decididamente, fue la mejor opción. Aunque afuera tienes la posibilidad de fumar y disfrutar de la vista exterior, el diseño interior es muy agradable.
En lugar tiene un diseño que mezcla elementos de la modernidad con toques objetos y decorados en apariencia, rústicos.

Pero ni eso ni sus diseños ecológicos importan en cuanto a una cafetería no referimos.
Lo que importa es el café.
Sin embargo, al pedir la carta nos dijeron que todo estaba en su página. Solo teniamos que escanear el código QR en la mesa.
Esta es la primera vez que tropiezo con una cafetería donde la carta se encuentra exclusivamente online.
Sin embargo, no es algo que me moleste o me desconcierte, sino que me alegra; ya que puedo ir revisando constantemente el menú, me encuentre o no me encuentre presente en el establecimiento.
Incluso, en esta web me dice si ya están abiertos o no.

Lo que sí me desconcertó fue el precio del café. Sabemos que estamos en la capital, que el lugar tiene cierto comfort y que, además, nos encontramos en un barrio residencial. Sin embargo, mientras un café express en Las Tunas cuesta 60.00, aqui cuesta 200.00, por solo poner un ejemplo.
Sin embargo, como estábamos emocionados con el lugar, decidimos pedir un costadito y un expreso. Esperábamos que la cantidad y calidad correspondiera con el precio a pagar.

El costadito estaba bastante bueno y, además, venía acompañado con un sorbeto de chocolate.
Sin embargo, la cantidad era bastante poca para ser un cortadito.

Sin embargo ya estaba pedido y pagado. Además, cumplimos con nuestro objetivo que era explorar y encontrar nuevos lugares y nuevos sabores.

¿Regresaremos? Puede ser. Quizás no a tomar café pero sí a probar algunas de las jarras de cervezas que observamos en la carta.
No obstante, no sé por qué, pero siempre que salimos a tomar cerveza, terminamos tomando café.
