Discovering small and new coffee shops in my neighborhood / Descubriendo pequeñas y nuevas cafeterías por mi barrio (eng-esp)

Hello coffee friends at #hive.

As I've already told you, I've returned to my hometown for a few days and have been (pleasantly) surprised by the opening of new, small coffee shops in my neighborhood.

They aren't large establishments. Rather, they've taken advantage of the small spaces that the architecture and design of the house have allowed.
These spaces have been garages, porches, and living rooms or hallways of houses that have been adapted or modified to create these small establishments.

Today I was walking down 26th Avenue, on my way home, when I found this lovely coffee shop in the shade of some Majagua trees.

So I decided to stop by Leddy's and see what it was like.

Outside, this small porch awaited me, comfortably furnished for enjoying coffee in the shade of the trees.

The interesting thing is that the shade of the trees kept the temperature cool and allowed you to enjoy your coffee right at the edge of the avenue.

I think this was both a good and a bad thing about this café. Yes, on the one hand, you can entertain yourself watching the cars and pedestrians go by, but the noise from the avenue is also a bit annoying (just a bit, to be honest).
Although, perhaps it's just that I've never been a big fan of these types of sidewalk establishments. Not even in Paris, where they're so famous, did I feel comfortable.

However, the air-conditioned interior was smaller, more intimate, and much nicer.
The variety of coffees was very appealing. Of course, I ordered a cappuccino. For me, a cappuccino always reflects the quality of the café and the rest of the offerings.
If they make the cappuccino poorly, I can assure you that the rest will be the same.

Well, Leddys passed my test, and the coffee was exquisite. A little pricey compared to Las Tunas, but very good. Worth every buck spent on it.
The best part is that I saw how they made it. In this coffee shop, they roast and grind their own coffee before brewing it.
In other words, they prepare semi-artisan coffee, with local and national products.
That's something that sets them apart from the rest of the coffee shops I've found so far.

Another thing that sets them apart and distinguishes them are those playful little signs hanging in various places throughout the cafe, which keep you entertained while you enjoy your coffee.

This is definitely a coffee shop you'll want to come back to. I highly recommend it.

Hola amigos del café en #hive.
Como ya les había contado, he regresado por unos días a mi tierra natal y me ha sorprendido (gratamente) la apertura de nuevas y pequeñas cafeterías por mi barrio.

No son locales grandes. Sino más bien, han aprovechado los pequeños espacios que la arquitectura y diseño de la casa le han permitido.
Estos espacios han sido los garajes portales y las salas o recibidores de las casas que sean adaptado o modificado para crear estos pequeños establecimientos.

Hoy caminaba por la avenida 26, camino a mi casa, cuando encontré a la sombra de unos árboles de Majagua, esta bonita cafetería.
Así que decidí entrar a la cafetería de Leddy y ver qué tal estaba.

En el exterior me esperaba este pequeño portal cómodamente amueblado para el disfrute del café a la sombra de los árboles.

Lo interesante es que la sombra de los árboles mantenían fresca la temperatura y te permitían poder disfrutar del café justo al borde de la avenida.
Creo que esto era algo bueno y lo malo de esta cafetería. Sí, por un lado te entretienes observando el paso de los autos y los transeúntes, pero también molesta un poco (solo un poco, la verdad) el ruido de la avenida.
Aunque bueno quizás es que nunca he sido muy fanática de este tipo de establecimientos puestos en las aceras. Ni siquiera en París, donde son tan famosos, me sentía cómoda.

Sin embargo, el interior climatizado, era más pequeño, más íntimo y mucho más bonito.
La variedad de cafés era muy atractiva. Por supuesto que yo pedí un capuchino. Para mí el capuchino siempre da la medida de la calidad de la cafetería y del resto de las elaboraciones.
Sí el capuchino lo preparan mal puedo asegurar de que el resto será igual.

Pues la cafetería de Leddys pasó mi prueba y el café estuvo exquisito. Un poco caro, en comparación con Las Tunas, pero muy bueno. Vale cada HBD empleado en él.
Lo mejor de todo es que vi cómo lo preparaban. En esta cafetería tuestan y muelen su propio café antes de colarlo.
O sea preparan un café semi artesanal, con productos locales y nacionales.
Eso es algo que los diferencia del resto de las cafeterías que he encontrado hasta el momento.

Otra cosa que lo diferencia y los distingue, son esos cartelitos picarescos, colgados por varios lugares de la cafetería y que te mantienen entretenido mientras disfrutas del café.

Sin duda alguna esta es una cafetería a la que hay que regresar. Se las recomiendo.
