Coffee is my most thoughtful choice

Hello, coffee lovers 😁
I'm here to participate in STB Coffee Prompt Week 92, as what I have to say is interesting.

I'm not addicted to coffee. It doesn't even keep me awake or make me upset, so I can drink as much as I want, as many times a day as I like.
Of course, without excess. I remember one day when my friend Erick and I drank a 16-cup pot while we talked about literature. That day, when we finished, my hands were shaking 🙄.
But, of course, who wouldn't be shaking after so much coffee so often?

I drink coffee regularly, but only if I don't do it alone. The first cup of the day is the one I drink with my wife in the morning.

She is my best companion in this morning coffee ceremony.

I'm a writer, so literary coffees are a regular feature at events, gatherings with friends, and trips to other provinces.
Coffee and literature have always gone hand in hand. While we read and chat, there's nothing better than doing so with well-served, hot cups.
Besides, there's something about these establishments that makes reading special.

Another reason to choose to drink coffee regularly is the whole ritual that surrounds it.
From the moment I tell my company I'm going to make coffee, when I open the sachet and smell the powder, and, above all, when the coffee maker brews.
My wife and I like to accompany our coffee with cookies or chocolates when we invite people over, to surprise them. We also surprise them by mixing espresso with vanilla or cinnamon.

I know the danger of becoming addicted. It doesn't matter if it's something as harmless as coffee. I know people who have become addicted, and when they lack it, it gives them severe headaches and affects their mood.
However, luckily, my body metabolizes caffeine very quickly and well, and I haven't become addicted. That's why, when I'm home alone for days, I don't drink a single cup, and I don't feel bad about it.
I prefer to wait for my wife and drink it with her. That's my best choice. Not only is it delicious, but it tastes better when enjoyed in company.
