Unexpected cold front, expected cuteness

Out of nowhere, the chilly weather decided to show up this past weekend. We’re at the end of winter and the days had already started to warm up, but, in its usual unpredictable way, the cold came back again. And of course, the ones who didn’t waste any time were Margot and Venus.

Each of them, in her own peculiar way, immediately burrowed under the blankets. Margot, always the one to stretch out, made sure to extend her paws and take up space as if the whole bed belonged to her. Venus, on the other hand, preferred to snuggle in a more delicate way, with just her little head peeking out, in true “don’t wake me up, I’m hibernating” style.

It’s funny how quickly pets sense these temperature changes and, at the same time, find the cutest possible way to deal with them. Around here, they’ve already officially declared that the season of sleeping all cozy and warm has begun!

And honestly, it’s impossible not to laugh and melt with these two very different personalities sharing the blanket with us.

Do nada, o friozinho resolveu dar as caras nesse final de semana por aqui. Estamos no final do inverno e o tempo já tem começado a esquentar, mas, sempre muito louco, do nada, veio o frio de novo. E, claro, quem não perdeu tempo foram elas: Margot e Venus.

Cada uma, do seu jeitinho peculiar, já tratou de se entocar embaixo das cobertas. A Margot, sempre mais espalhada, fez questão de esticar as patinhas e ocupar espaço como se a cama fosse toda dela. Já a Venus preferiu se aconchegar de forma mais delicada, só com a cabecinha de fora, no maior estilo “não me acorda, que estou hibernando”.

É engraçado ver como os bichinhos sentem essa mudança de temperatura tão rápido e, ao mesmo tempo, encontram o jeito mais fofo possível de lidar com ela. Aqui, elas já decretaram oficialmente quando a temporada de dormir juntinho e quentinho começou!

E, sinceramente, não tem como não rir e se derreter com essas duas personalidades tão diferentes dividindo o cobertor com a gente.
