Price psychology: At McDonald's in Vienna, two 0.25L small Cokes are cheaper than buying a 0.5L medium one.
Was sagt ihr dazu?

What do you think? What could be the reason for this low introductory price? How much do a small and medium Coke cost at your local McDonald’s?

I need to do a check here next time I get the chance
:P that's silly math. but it works.. :P
I think it may be a strategy for the store to make customers buy two 0.25L Cokes instead of one
the small and medium Coke on the McDonald's in my neighborhood costs around $1.10 and $2.50 respectively
Das ist wirklich ungewöhnlich!
That doesn't make sense to me, generally the larger sizes are cheaper overall. I haven't been to McDonalds in a while so I might need to check.
Die spinnen im McDoof 🤣
My guess:
MCD experienced that if people buy a larger initial portion (Fries / burger / drink) these people are less likely to buy a second round (mc flurry / desert). Business wise it turned out that the highest profits were generated where they could convince customers to buy a second round, compared to a single large order.
