Hi everyone.

There is so much going on outside and inside this room I'm writing from that I would need multiple articles to properly cover it all.
I might do that but here I will try to summarize all those different subjects, and it is all about music but there are many parallels to be drawn with all other kinds of issues in these transformative but also perilous times.

Lots of people are excited about crypto and rather bullish prospects and trends but I have some doubts whether to be bullish or bearish on humanity in general.
Historical charts/trends are not looking good. :)

Let's begin with what is going on outside this room.
It is now mainstream that music streaming is broken.
What was foreshadowed a few years ago with statements of various corporate music labels CEO's, changes of streaming platforms / distribution policies have become practices targeting multitude of people/artists.
It is the same template where an excuse is being formed in order to frame and kick out undesirables while tackling "the problems" more than often accusers are themselves guilty off.
In this case it is about malovent corporations that resent Independent and DIY artists.
In my case feeling is mutual so I guess that is fair game but I guess that is not the case with majority of people/artists who simply like to create and exist as independent creators and have nothing against the industry and are often big consumers and fans of the same.

(There are already tons of information's available)

We could say time is ripe for WEB3 Music scene/infrastructure.
No one likes to be bullied and sabotaged and once the critical majority of those affected is reached people will naturally look for alternatives and will bond and unite under the same banner.

In the end all those movements might produce something that will actually work for most, but until then it is going to be a bumpy and unpredictable ride.

Now, what is going on outside has naturally big ramifications in what is going on inside this room.

To begin with, I'm done with laying out basic tracks (demos) of new music I'm preparing for the next year.
A new album is the ultimate goal but before that I will be releasing some singles and also considering what is going on outside it is time to think about how do I like to function in this ever-changing and often hostile enviorement.

It seems that diversification is the modus operands for the music in the future too, not just for crypto for example.

Various catalogues for various purposes.
Avoid placing all music in one basket, avoid as much possible dependance on major services and media. Sounds familiar. :)
In my case the main catalogue will be on Bandcamp, some music will be released using distributions and some will be for various web3 platforms, becoming collectors' items or given to influencers networks for hassle free use etc..

As I had to look at my entire catalogue and I have some upgrades in my music production environment I have realized that there are quite a few singles I have released in times where for me making music was kind of difficult.
Those tracks deserve to be remastered/remixed and re-released. I would do this parallel with producing new music so all in all year 2026. should be kind of busy.

This year, most probably in about two months I'm planning to round up "Chill Em All" (name of the last album) period with release of the new single that is another tender intimate guitar instrumental.

More about it in a few weeks when I will announce it.

This is already a long post. Next posts should be shorter as I will focus entirely on new music and releases.

Thank You for all of your love and support.

We keep on Rocking.!

Wishing you all the best with your projects. The music world does seem messed up these days with a few companies controlling what gets heard. The internet ought to make it possible to bypass them, but people need the right tools. Bandcamp do a great job. I've not released much music and don't expect to earn much from it, but we should have control. Web3 can be part of that.

These are transformative times, read about (among many other examples) Sonny and their web3 initative.

It is bound to happen. For music in general we always had different scenes. These days it has become all messed up and joined, but I guess good parts will go back to having different scenes. Only this time not based on genre but on way of functioning/creating.
Mainstream vs AI vs Indies.

Sounds like Mexican standoff. :)

Huh, it looks like independent music artists are having a harsh time... 🙁 It's a pity (or an opportunity) that nobody did some bigger move to bring music to the blockchain, and to finally get artists more focused on the music and less dependent on music production houses and their chains! Hehehe... Now I've become aware of what I did here... 😃

To free ourselves from corporate chains, the only way to go is a... blockchain!!! 😃

Good luck with your new album! Keep creating!! 💪

There are movements but as with everything it takes time and critical mass..Crypto or gaming crowd is way ahead compering to creative content crowd.But...how it goes that saying?
"Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come."

We'll see.
