I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. In my post yesterday, I talked about how the SlothBuzz community was considering relaunching the Saturday Savers Club, which recently ended after 5 years of operation, and which is of course also the idea that we had, so collaboration seemed like the way to go. Although sloths might move slowly most of the time, sometimes they buzz, and that's exactly what happened with these sloths, as they've already relaunched and rebranded the #SaturdaySavers as #SlothlySavers, Saturdaysavers rebrand and relaunch at Sloth.Buzz. I suggest that everyone post his/her 2026 Hive Goals in the comments of that post. I still have to decide on mine...lol!
The original suggested tag was #SlothSavers, which I liked, then #SlothlySavers popped into my mind almost immediately, which I offered. It has a nice ring to it, and the sloths dug it, so that's probably the main one that will be used, to complement a few other possibilities. They'll also very graciously be using the #Alive tag on these new #SlothlySavers posts, and as a suggested tag for participant's posts, both to get more Alivers involved in Slothly Savers, and to bring greater awareness of the We Are Alive Tribe, and our ALIVE token, to the greater Hive community. If I can find the room, I'll likely also add #slothbuzz to my post tags, and to those for 'We Are Alive Tribe' posts.
The We Are Alive Tribe will also be supporting Slothly Savers with regular donations of ALIVE, ALIVEM, and BBH, to go to the weekly participation prizes. Since the Slothly Savers' week-2 post (the relaunch post was week 1) will be published in about 8 hours, I've got to decide how much of each token to distribute for the weekly prizes rather quickly indeed.
The We Are Alive Tribe and the SlothBuzz communities haven't had very much interaction before this point, and I'm grateful to change that. In these challenging Hive times, with many leaving the Blockchain, the people and projects that are still committed, dedicated, and consistently active, need to work together, and support each other. The We Are Alive Tribe and @bradleyarrow'a BBH Project have always been closely aligned and allied, and now we're moving into closer connection and cooperation with the SlothBuzz community, which I believe will be very mutually-beneficial and mutually-supportive for all of us.
I strongly encourage all of you to take part in this new slothly incarnation of the Saturday Savers Club, I know that I will be, as it's our intention to make it a fun, useful, and valuable community tradition once again. I've got some post templates to edit, it would seem. Perhaps we could connect the Tuesday Share-Your-Goals-and-Progress @alive.chat posts with this newly iterated Slothly Savers initiative. What do you think, y'all? I'd love to hear your perspectives, thoughts, and feelings on the matter (from you as well, @slothbuzz and @slothlydoesit). I'm excited, and I'm looking forward to helping to make the newly-transformed Slothly Savers Club even better than its predecessor!
Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by around 2:15PM, giving my attention to some photography for my posts first. Very thankfully, after 3 days straight of dense clouds and rain, we finally had some sun yesterday, which made my photography session quite a bit easier and more enjoyable, I must say. After photography, I made a quick food-supply run to Tutu's to restock the Landing, then devoted a bit more time to planting more of the longevity spinach (Gynura procumbens) that I had removed from the top of the tarp that's covering a storage area next to the Landing, at various places on the property. With that done for the day, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which I got my machete and went banana hunting, searching the property for harvestable bananas (I found one small rack). Once I had that done, I cleaned up, heated myself up some leftover food that I had in the Landing fridge, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I made my way back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done quite late again, a bit after 11:30PM, and after some rapid asset management, I went to bed by 11:45PM. I woke up just before 7AM, having slept reasonably well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1PM, so it's a fantastic time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before preparing for a session that's scheduled for 1:30PM. 2026 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

Dont let us rush you into a decision. We appreciate your offer of support but wont be needing any prizes until next week at the earliest, and there is always time to upgrade and advance the #slothlysavers club.
Right now my focus is just getting the ball rolling and giving people the heads up it will continue for 2026. I know many were disappointed by it 'ending' and had already set their savings goals for 2026 regardless.
We're happy to have any users get invovled with SaturdaySavers, and since we're sloths, we plan on keeping it slow and simple. As long as you make one post a week updating your goals, drop that as a comment on our weekly update post and we're buzzing! If it happens you can combine that with Alive updates thats a bonus, or it gives you an extra day of posting content to create, so win win either way.
We'll be using #SlothlySavers as the main tag for the Saving challenge. Of course, since were using sloth.buzz now, we'll also add the #slothbuzz tag. I'll recommend users add the #alive tag too.
I've yet to reach out to other tribes/alliances but I feel bbh tribe, the busybee community and possibily pimp communities might also be worth involving.
Sloth steps, we'll get around to all those details in good time. For now were just getting the ball rolling and seeing how much interest there is.

Yes, I understand that, and indeed, lots of people, myself included, were pretty shocked and sad to see SSC end.
In that regard, there's no issues, as I've put together and published my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Updates every week for years now. I also share updates on the We Are Alive Tribe in my daily posts as well.
