Lessons We Ignored but Now Live By.

We all, as humans, make some mistakes in our lives, and we sometimes regret our actions when we do them. When we were younger, growing up, our parents scolded us for little things we did, hoping that when we grew up and had a sense of humor, we wouldn't be able to repeat those things again because they are bad things that we should not grow up with. I remembered back then I was a very stubborn boy growing up, but all thanks to my parents, who were able to train me in the right way despite my stubbornness. This is what most kids of today are lacking in parenting.

When I have grown up to some certain stage now, I have begun to see most of these things they are telling us, and now I understand from their own point of view also. Now when I see a young fellow, be it a male or a female, doing something in a wrong way, I try my best to ensure that I correct them in the right way so that they won't also go astray, but when such a person says he or she is not ready to listen, then I will just leave him or her to carry their cross till when they will be able to understand what life truly means.

Then I remember when my dad talks to me and I refuse to heed what he is saying, he will say what he has to say and make a mandate, which you must follow because he is still the head. But then he will say that he will leave his words with me, that when that time comes, I will realize what it means to be an adult, and now that adulthood is here, I am happy I didn't throw those words away because they are helping me now.

But what can we now say to this upcoming generation who calls themselves the Gen Z generation? These guys are so inquisitive that when you tell them something, they never believe you are real or correct until they make their own findings and they see for themselves. The world is turning around and evolving into different things so that the upcoming generation no longer sees things to be bad again. The things we grew up to know to be bad things are what they see as fashion and normal.

Like, I was checking the internet some days back, and I saw a post where some young ladies were doing some abnormal things. Then I strolled down to the comment section to see what people were saying, and then I saw someone wrote, This current generation will miss motherhood and fatherhood. I paused for a minute, and I thought about this and imagined this statement. Some parents no longer care about children anymore. Unlike those days when your parents took the full responsibility for their children, and they stayed with them until they became successful in life. But one thing I know is that, as a parent or a guardian, if you do not partake in a child's life, you do not have the ability to partake in the child's greatness later in life.
