Reworking the GLD token

Now if you have been following this community for the past few weeks you will have seen articles saying that I'm changing things. If you have been here for the long run you will see that the name has changed, and its gone from no posts in months to teasers that things are changing.
You may also be thinking "Why am I not giving firm details on what is happening". The quick answer to that is: I don't know exactly how I'm going to do things moving forward. I have lots of ideas but I'm deciding which way I want things to progress.
However, one thing that was important to me is making sure that the GLD token is supported and that anyone from the original crew who held onto their GLD tokens isn't left holding worthless junk.
And if you held onto your tokens today they are worth a lot more than they were yesterday
If you look at old posts
Before I actively bought and sold the GLD token and wanted to try to keep a soft peg of 100 GLD to 1 HIVE. However, it is a lot of work trying to make sure there is liquidity on hive-engine and that there is liquidity on tribaldex and that it works out to roughly 100:1
That had to change moving forward.
Rather than try to peg the currency I'm just going to let it float and go wherever it will. However, that doesn't mean that I'm go let it freefall. In fact if you look at the value of GLD right now VS where it was this morning? The liquidity in Tribaldex is a tiny fraction of what it was but there is a large buy order on Hive-engine at 23:1. In short if anyone wants to sell the value of their GLD tokens is 4x what it was yesterday.
Moving forward I am quite sure that I will be needing GLD tokens to power up dragons that will be created. In that regard I'll be actively buying GLD tokens IF they are valued at 100:1 vs HBD.
I will also be looking at the value on tribaldex and hive-engine. If people are selling and the value drops below 0.01HBD to 1 GLD I'll buy. If speculators are buying the token and its value is more than 0.01HBD to 1 GLD then I'll print more and stake the HBD I get for the token.
That is because I will be holding 1 staked HBD for every 100 GLD that gets minted.
As you can see I'm holding $732 and at 100:1 that would be 73,200 GLD printed. Actual printing:
64,000 tokens.
And most of those I'm still holding myself.
If you want to sell
Hive-engine is the place to go. There are buy orders in place for up to 7272 GLD tokens. That won't cover everyone if they want to cash out but it will cover the biggest holder and if I see people cashing out I'll make sure to find hive to buy more.
Until I know exactly how things will pan out moving forward I won't be selling more coins but there is always tribaldex :)
So here is a shout out to all the holders of GLD token to let them know their price has gone up considerably and I hope you don't mind I manipulated its price to fit my thoughts on how I want the coins direction to go moving forward.

That would be appreciated. However I'd be more curious about a couple of other things: First: Any idea why I got downvoted so much? I find it surprising especially since I doubted anyone would even notice posts here. Second: Can you recommend any good curation accounts to delegate to? I know pandex of course but anyone else you can think of? Actually I just noticed that its this reply that got downvoted. What's up with that?
If you're curious about the downvotes on my comments, they're from annoying promotions for a platform I won't name. If you visit their profiles, you'll find the name of a spammy platform that relies on downvoting to promote itself. I don't think it's a smart marketing strategy; it just irritates people with constant spam. These downvotes are meaningless.
Regarding the curation project, you can delegate to @pakx. In my opinion, it's the best project to delegate to because it's HivePakistan's investment token, and I manage it. You'll likely appreciate its model if you dive into how it works. It started at 2 HIVE per PAKX and has already risen to 4.2 to 6 HIVE per PAKX. The numbers speak for themselves. You can also check how much hive each PAKX is backed by.

This is good news, when I am able to accumulate some hive, I won't hesitate to buy GLD token and hold. Thanks for all the labor you have been doing to ensure that GLD holders never regret holding.

Good to hear from you and glad your still interested in the community. As for buying GLD tokens if you get some HIVE that's always appreciated but I'll let you know that part of the Dragons community purpose will be to figure out who gives the best return on your HIVE. I hope GLD can measure up but if not? Well, hopefully you will be able to find out who gives better return.
I believe in what you have in store for GLD token. Buying it will worth every penny, that I am sure of.
