My Latest Exploration on Arcade Colony and MoonKart Packs || I am going to wait for GEN Sale

Two days ago, I shared some updates about Arcade Colony. If you have not heard about Arcade Colony before, you can check out my previous blogs to understand what it is all about.

Now, there are many games available on the platform that we can play. One of those games is called MoonKart. When I visited the game section, I noticed that there were some packs available which you need to buy. These packs contain NFTs, and those NFTs are used to play the game.

So I also tried to buy one of those packs. As you can see in the screenshot below, there is a Buy Packs option, and I clicked on that.

When I clicked on the Buy Packs option, I was taken to a web page, which you can see in the screenshot below. It showed a message saying that all packs are sold out.

But there is still one way to buy them you can visit Hive Engine and trade there. If someone is selling their pack, you can buy it from them.

So I clicked on the Hive Engine option, and after that, I was redirected to the Hive Engine market page.

Now on the Hive Engine marketplace, I saw that the ask price for these packs is 20 HIVE. I am curious to know what the initial price was.

If any of you reading this blog had bought these packs during the original sale, please let me know how much one pack was selling for at that time.

Based on that, I will decide whether I should buy it now or not. Also, if you would like to suggest whether I should go ahead and buy it, please tell me at what price you think it makes sense, and whether it is worth it or not.

I explored the Arcade Colony website a bit more and found out that there is a roadmap, specifically for MoonKart cards. From that, I learned that there was a pre sale, which ended on 12 April.

That means we are already quite late. Right now it is June, and the sale ended way back on 12 April. Only fifty thousand packs were available during that sale, which means we completely missed it.

But I also noticed that there is another sale coming soon called the Gen Sale. I am not sure when it will go live, but we can see below that it will be soon available.

I think I should wait for the Gen Sale, because it looks like those packs will be available soon. Once they are live, I will buy the packs from there.

If you look at the screenshot above, you will see that I had bought five thousand Colony tokens and staked them. But till now, I have not received any rewards.

I checked a few blogs where I saw that people received Colony tokens as rewards for staking. I am not sure at what APR these tokens are distributed, because I have not received even a single token yet, as you can see in the screenshot above.
