After surgery check up

So yesterday as some of you might know my wife had a cataract surgery , and to day we went back to the hospital for a check upo to see if everything is still allright .

As we arrived from the parking garage the christmas lights were shining bright as if we were going to a festivity .
(created with mobile)

The check up went well all was as expected in a good way .
then we got a list to pick up from the pharmacy 3 types of medications for her eye.

So we drove home and when we arrived at our local pharmacy they said we don't have those specific medications , try the hospital . 🙃

And so i dropped the wife at home took some coffee and went away again to the local Hospital , not really enjoying to go there again , last time i went there they kept me for surgery . 😂

After waiting 30 minutes i finally managed to get 2 out of 3 of the medications , the 3rd one i need to pick on Monday 🥸 .

That makes you really wonder if you plan a surgery it would seem normal that you know what medication someone needs after wards so you can make sure they have those at home before you start the surgery at all. Or is that to much logic these days ?

When i got back home the doorbell rang , some flower delivery guy brought this flower arangemnt for my wife . It was a nice suprrise from her co-workers .

And it gave me something to do , will try tomorrow with proper daylight to make some nice macro shots but for now here are some nice close-ups of the flower arrangement.

You are an awesome photographer, just as much as you are a husband! These petals are gorgeous, and I believe your wife must be thankful to have you by her side at a time like this.

Well done, and I hope you find some time this weekend to get yourself a good sleep.✨️

The flowers are beautiful and a thoughtful gesture. I'm glad she got them, and the checkup went well. I also thought the medications should be part of the requirements before surgery starts, rather than the back and forth. Good to know you got 2 of them though

I'm so glad everything went well at your wife's medical checkup and that you were able to get most of the medications! I hope the third medication arrives on Monday so her recovery can be successful.
Hugs to you both!

Hello dear friend @stresskiller, good afternoon.

I'm so glad to hear everything went well. Wishing your wife a speedy recovery.

You're right, these prescribed medications should have been available at the clinic, ready and waiting to be picked up after the surgery. Luckily, you were able to get them at the hospital.

What a lovely gesture from your wife's colleagues.

Have a wonderful weekend.
