El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una actividad que implementamos este año con nuestros niños y otras familias, celebrar el día de acción de gracias en comunidad. En mi país esto no se hace pero en muchas partes del mundo si y como deseamos inculcar y enseñar valores y principios a nuestros pequeños decidimos que sería una muy buena actividad.
Enseñar a nuestros niños a que sean agradecidos es muy importante. Ellos necesitan aprender esta gran virtud que les ayudara en toda su vida. Así que otras mamis y yo decidimos organizar un paseo en familia donde cada una diera una carta de acción de gracias a otra familia, de esa forma agradeceríamos por sus vidas.

Today I want to share with you an activity that we implemented this year with our children and other families, to celebrate Thanksgiving in community. So other moms and I decided to organize a family outing where each one would give a letter of thanksgiving to another family, that way we would be thankful for their lives.
Fue un hermoso momento que disfrutamos y nuestros niños también. Mis pequeños estuvieron muy emocionados y me ayudaron a hacer la carta que debíamos entregar a otra familia. También se alegraron mucho cuando recibimos una carta, fue un momento hermoso de amistad, agradecimiento y compañerismo.
La actividad la hicimos en el parque, aprovechamos la ocasión y el clima para pasear un rato. Ese día tuvimos varias actividades, como una caminata con los niños para que exploraran y aplicaran lo aprendido en clases, pero sin duda lo más hermoso fue el compartir de acción de gracias.

Como madre estoy convencida que enseñar esto a nuestros hijos es fundamental, porque los niños suelen ser egoístas por naturaleza y muy poco agradecidos. Y no hablo de esto como una tradición sino como una enseñanza de vida, solo que en esta oportunidad lo hicimos en comunidad.
Este año fue la primera vez, un poco improvisado pero un tiempo muy hermoso. Para el siguiente año ya veremos que se nos ocurre, lo importante es que nuestros pequeños están aprendiendo y eso me encanta.
