As the soft light of the afternoon began to calm the surroundings, the money for the tuition arrived in my pocket. On this day of the month, my heart waits for something different. The joy of receiving my own earnings is special, and that joy doubles when I can bring a smile to my beloved child's face. With the money in my pocket, I called my son, "Come on, let's go to the market today."

Hearing about the trip to the market, his face lit up with happiness. Hand in hand, when we reached the fruit shop in the market, he immediately picked his favorite fruit—a juicy, sweet, dark orange tangerine. As the tangerines were being bagged one by one, the satisfied smile on his face was my greatest reward.
After buying my son's favorite fruit, I thought a little about my own health. To provide daily energy and keep my body healthy, I bought some nutritious cashews in a small plastic pack and some golden raisins in another pack.
When I placed the green polythene bag on the bed after returning home, the fresh oranges and dry fruits inside looked like a piece of happiness. In these simple fruits and nuts—purchased with the money I saved from tutoring—were hidden a parent's love and a small sense of achievement in standing on my own feet.

It’s always the little things that matter. You’re doing great and I am sure your son won’t ever forget how much you love and care for him.
