Nothing really fancy about my garage, I spent about a thousand dollars on the storage cabinets and about as much on the tiles, labor was my own so that was free. And I spent maybe 50 bucks on drywall compound and texturing roll to texture the walls and used the remaining house walls paint that the new home manufacturer left us... Oh and the new home didn't have an option for the garage door opener, so I bought that for around two hundred bucks and installed myself...

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't be spending that much on my garage. I get use it too much and get it too dirty to do something like that. My neighbor uses his as a hang out space versus an actual garage and in that case it makes sense to me.

I also do my weight lifting workouts in my garage, so I like it clean :)
