Good question. I've always had a facility and a love for words, language, and languages, and I've always loved to create unique and interesting synergies, combinations, and mixes, so this proclivity has been with me my entire life.

As much as I love languages, I don't really have any interest in creating my own. Natural languages, which have developed over time, and which have a history and flavor to them, as so much more interesting than synthetic languages.
