Thanks for the explanation! ๐Ÿค— In my case, I just vote for any Hive Witness or Hive Proposal (including the Return Proposal) which I like to support, even if my vote is way below 1% of a Hive Whale's vote, not to mention multiple Hive Whales !INDEED. ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜…

You got it, you're most welcome. That's good, and that's what I was doing up to this point. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

Perhaps more people on Hive (especially new ones and those who have little Hive Power) should be encouraged anyway to vote for their preferred Hive Witnesses (and Hive Proposals), as multiple Redfishes and Minnows (and Dolphins) can match or even surpass one or more Hive Whale's votes !INDEED. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ

True, and indeed, though it would take a heck of a lot of redfish and minnows, even dolphins too, to even come close to whale votes. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ’š โœจ ๐Ÿค™

As reference, it technically takes between 100 to 1,000 Minnows ๐ŸŸ, 10 to 100 Dolphins ๐Ÿฌ, or 1 to 10 Orcas ๐Ÿฌ to make a vote equivalent to that of a single Hive Whale !INDEED. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

OK, that's useful, and that's still a lot of Hivers working together, which doesn't seem to happen all that often sadly. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

I think that even if there are much more Hive Whales (and Orcas), there won't be much progress if they don't help each other though. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฏ

Staking large amounts of Hive Power with the intention to help the Hive blockchain is a good idea, but what's also important is the number and activity of Hive devs who directly work for the blockchain !INDEED. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ Hive needs more devs, as what you occasionally have been saying for the past few years. ๐Ÿ˜…

Yes, though I know quite a lot of devs that develop on and for Hive, many working on their own projects, while others are working on parts of larger projects. I'd say that there needs to be more communication, cooperation, and collaboration between the devs that we have now. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

Let's also !HOPE that such "communication, cooperation, and collaboration" between Hive devs happens right on the Hive blockchain (or at least on FOSS dapps based on Hive), not on third-party communications and git platforms !INDEED. ๐Ÿค—

That'd be great for sure, but we both know that it doesn't usually happen that way. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

I think that even a single Hive Witness (who doesn't have to be within the Top 20 or somewhere near) who starts an initiative to make as much communication between people on Hive on Hive-based FOSS dapps that they themselves would create (which doesn't have to be from scratch, as existing third-party FOSS projects may already be used) would make a noticeable positive impact. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿค“
