Golem Overlord and Terracore - Weekly leaderboard, New research, and short claim disasters

How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

My Golem overlord base had something exciting for me when I opened it. The rank where I was for last week Leaderboard is 20 and for that I was excited as you can see below I was promised some wonderful gift items from them once I unlock it using 634 SHARDS.

I was so so happy unless and until I actually opened up the rewards and then saw the items I was excited about. The only thing they gave me today was pyrites. What the hell was going on? I spent 600+ Shards for those pyrites NFTs. It was really sad to see them coming out of that reward box for me.

I have got so demotivated that I might not participate in the weekly ranks anymore. I am not spending so much of money to get nothing at the end. I spend 3000 Shards to be in the top 20 and then additional 600+ shards to open the main thing and what did I found inside? Those pyrite NFTs.

Yesterday I set my claim to shorter duration as It was one of the missions and I clearly said in that blog that I am bad at it. To your surprise I have only managed to claim two short claims and now my attacks are also filled up to max numbers so I have taken a nice loss already.

Anywyas, it is not a good day for me and that is what I have realised so far and hence I went over to do something different. I used my RP ( Research points ) and started a new Research as you can see in the screenshot below. This is something I fail to do for most of the time.

I gave all the possible parts and shards as contributed towards this Research already. These will benefit the Guild overall someday but there are only three active members doing it for the Guild at this moment but anyways, I hope we all will come together and do it.

Lastly In a hope to make my day a better day I am sharing what happened with me in the terracore. So my terracore base did nothing special to make me happy either and I won those chillars as you can see in the screenshot shared below. Anyways, what could have been more bad that could happen to me.

If you are playing games in Web3 there is very less chance that you will make money here and especially if you are late then simply forget about the making money thing. It is for the early adopters and that too for a little duration of time. I am saying this all from my personal experience.
