THERE IS FULFILMENT IN GRATITUDE

I am grateful for a lot of things this year thus far. I am grateful for how the Lord has always answered me when I cry, never leaving my pressing needs unattended to. Grateful for how He is taking care of my family, the safe journeys to and fro, protection from evil and the favour He has shown us. Though the year has been tough, but God has always showed up for us.

I am also grateful for the Hive blockchain and its various communities which have kept me very engaged this year. I joined the Hive blockchain last year June but I wasn’t really active until February this year and since then it has kept me engaged. I used to be someone that worried so much about nothing, and whenever I had nothing to do, I became worried and a little depressed, but my engagement in the Hive blockchain has kept me so busy that I sometimes don’t have time to worry about the little things that kept me worried.

With the Hive blockchain's communities, both the writing and the singing communities, I have been developing a special skill in writing and in singing. So far I will say that I have improved so greatly with my singing. Some time last year when I started, I was discouraged from singing due to the fact that I was no good. I could barely stay on key, and even when I was on key I couldn't say because I couldn’t differentiate the two times. But this year I said to myself that I could do it and I am doing it, not still at the perfect stage though, but I am seeing a significant improvement in my skill.

My writing has also increased significantly. I write with better grammar and form good sentences. With the writing communities always giving a daily/weekly prompt, I find myself having something to write about and thus I am always writing on a daily basis. This has helped my writing skills so well that I don’t find it too difficult to write about anything. All I need is a sentence to start with and I just find myself going. Although one challenge I have discovered is that writing on the Hive blockchain is difficult especially for newbies who might not get any encouragement as votes or even comments, I am still relentless in my journey.

The Hive blockchain these days, I will joke around with my friends and call it my main job. Truly it has been a blessing. With the economy of Nigeria where the value of what you are earning is deteriorating everyday, the rich are now among the lower class with everyone trying to survive. The Hive blockchain earning has been a source of survival to me.
Lastly, I will say that I am grateful for the friends God has given me. I can say this for a fact because I know they were sent my way by God. Having friends that are thoughtful of you is a blessing that cannot be traded and I am so much thankful for them.
