The ring to connect us with AI

The ring to connect us with AI

Souce

And if instead of taking your cell phone out of your pocket, you simply whispered an idea into your finger, it's a strange dream now, but it could be exactly that. As the next phase of artificial intelligence enters our routine, in recent years, smart rings have emerged as a discreet alternative for monitoring health and physical activities, but a new generation of devices is trying something different.

Transforming the rings into direct interfaces with AI is not the first attempt to create gadgets dedicated to artificial intelligence, products like the Human AI Pin, the Rabbit R1 and even smart collars promised a lot and delivered little, now the rings opted for a simpler path, quick access, silent and invisible house to the AI, devices like the Pebble Index, the Extreme Ring and the Wizpr Ring essentially function as ultra-compact microphones.

You speak quietly, almost without attracting attention and they capture ideas, reminders, questions or commands. The Pebble Index, for example, records short voice notes and transforms them into text using AI models that work offline, prioritizing privacy, the Stream Ring goes further, allowing, as you see, you are with a chatbot that responds with an internal voice partially based on your own voice.

The Wizpr Ring promises something even more direct, chat with ChatGPT without a button, without an activation word, just bring the ring to your mouth and talk. After more than 3 years living with ChatGPT and other assistants, many people have become accustomed to thinking in dialogue with AI; for that audience, a device that allows you to capture thoughts the moment they arise may seem natural.

It's the same reason smartwatches became useful for quick reminders, less friction, less interruption, a constant way to feed your personal life with context.

Sorry for my Ingles, it's not my main language. The images were taken from the sources used or were created with artificial intelligence
