Entrepreneur uses AI to create vaccine that saves his dog from cancer.

Sometimes the greatest innovations do not start in laboratories, they start with a loss, this is the story of a technology entrepreneur from Australia who saw that his dog was diagnosed with aggressive cancer, he decided to do something that few would imagine, instead of accepting the limits of traditional treatments, he resolved to create a solution from scratch, using artificial intelligence, genetic analysis and even an OpenAI chatbot began the development of a personalized experimental cancer vaccine.

Rosie, her dog had been rescued years before, who had become part of the family, but even with chemotherapy and surgery, the tumors continued to advance, it was then that she decided to explore another path, after the complete sequencing of the animal's DNA, comparing healthy cells with cancerous ones, it was possible to identify exactly which mutations were causing the disease, as if analyzing two versions of the same system, one intact and the other with flaws.

With that data in hand, I used algorithms to look for possible ways to combat cancer and there arose the most audacious idea, a personalized mRNA vaccine, the same technology that recently gained prominence in other areas of medicine, now applied in an individualized manner, with the support of researchers and specialists, the vaccine was developed specifically for Rosie's case.

The result clearly caught attention, a tumor the size of a tennis ball was reduced by half days after the application, something that not only brought hope for the treatment of the animal, but also surprised oncology specialists, because what happened there goes beyond an isolated case, it shows the potential of a new approach.

A personalized medicine based on the genetic code of each individual, capable of acting with precision instead of trying to treat everyone in the same way and perhaps that is the most important point. The technology used in this process is not inaccessible, genetic sequencing, artificial intelligence and mRNA already exist, all of that is already part of reality, what changes now is the way in which these pieces connect and that can completely transform the future of disease treatment.

Because at the end of the day this story is not just about a dog, it is about how far someone is willing to go when technology finds a real purpose, now tell me, when artificial intelligence begins to help create personalized treatments, are we facing a new era of medicine or just at the beginning of something much bigger.

Sorry for my Ingles, it's not my main language. The images were taken from the sources used or were created with artificial intelligence
