Today, I'm sharing the pictures of White Peacock

The White Peacock is a unique, beautiful and fascinating bird, liked for it's appearance.
The White Peacock is a genetic color variation of Indian Peafowl.
It's White color is because of two genetic Conditions:
Albinism: Complete inability to produce melanin (dark pigment) in the whole body. Peacocks with this condition have pure white feathers, red or pink eyes, pale or skin colored beak and legs. They are sensitive to light due to the lack of protective pigment.
Leusism: Partial or total reduction in the deposition of all pigments in the feathers. Peacocks with this condition have pale, white or patchy feathers, with normal eyes (color:gray or blue), beak and legs.

White Peacocks are very rare in the nature but selectively bread and widely found in captivity.

I took these photos from our community Zoo. And sharing these images to participate in #SMAP contest.
