Latam sport journalists / football scouts wanted!

Hey there my Hive friends and followers!

It honestly feels a bit odd to break my “posting silence” here on my blog with this article but I was recently asked a favor by an old friend of mine and it actually turned out that the most effective way of granting the favor would be a Hive post. How come? Well, because that friend of mine is looking for cool reliable folks from Latin America who like football and he knows that I lived in this part of the world and thus might still have some contacts over there (which I actually do) but as I was thinking about it, I figured it might actually be better to share the recruiting ad here on Hive as the Latam community that we have here is known to be really huge and super active :)

Now let me start out by providing some little background for you. My friend is a manager in a big international sports analytics company called SportRadar. He and his brother are now launching a new project in Latin America where they are looking for data journalists or football scouts if you will. Basically, they are looking for people who would comment football matches through a simple mobile phone app – either live from actual venues or from live streams (home office). All you need to do is complete some training, pass a test and then you are ready to go.

As for the rewards, commenting live from actual venues should be around 45 EUR per game, home office commenting from live streams would be around 30 EUR per game. They are recruiting all over Latin America with the exception of Cuba (for political / legal reasons) but mainly in Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Mexico.
