Share Your HIVE/Crypto Sources .:. Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.49 (Wednesday, October 8th, 5 PM UTC)

Picking up a topic for writing, or picking posts to read and consume, sometimes can be time-consuming... As one of the curators for the @Ourpick, I struggle to find interesting posts and new authors worthy of support... It's not that there aren't good authors out there, it's more that they are sometimes lost in the jungle of "shitposts"... On the other side, maybe I'm just too picky and have high expectations of others? The best method to clear the doubts is to discuss them with others, and that will be exactly what we will do in this show!

We had 2-3 similar shows in the past where we were talking about these topics, but more in a general way... For example, in the #HHHLive episode 42, we were talking about consuming content, but more about our favorite topics or niches... In the episodes 7 and 8, participants were sharing their favorite communities, in English, but also in Spanish (that was a lot of fun!)... For this show, I was thinking more about sharing our favorite authors on HIVE and off-HIVE, which inspires us to create content, to engage, and finally, to implement some of the knowledge in our lives...

So, what would be the #HHHLive show about?

Let me simplify things a bit... I have a feeling that people could get scared of the introduction lines... 😃

• What are your favorite HIVE authors and why?
• Do you have some "external" favorite content creators? From YouTube, or some other traditional social media? Share them with us!
• Do you engage with your favorite authors? Do you write comments to their posts, ask questions, share your opinions...
• Do they inspire you to create your content about a similar topic, or does their content remind you of other topics that you could share?

Don't be shy to share good content creators with others... It can be beneficial for other show participants, and also, it can help those authors to get more attention and exposure! If they are your favorite authors, they probably deserve more readers and more eyes on their content! Also, showing appreciation for good work has a double benefit for both sides, for those who show it, and those who receive it... It's motivational, and it can help people to stay on track, keep sharing good stuff, as we all need good people around us!

How was the last show?
Last time, we had a fantastic show covering an important topic of safety online... We were talking about the past experiences with hacks, but also, we were talking about tips for the future... It's important to be aware of possible threats like phishing, malware, and viruses, to be able to combat them if we get into a situation where we need to deal with them... Participants shared some HIVE tips, and we were talking about account recovery on HIVE, too! Don't forget to check out the recording of the show, but also, check out the comment section of the post as it has some additional information from other Hivians!
