If I learned something in the last month or so is that health is priceless... Also, while I was recovering, it was great to see that our dear crypto market was recovering too... We are still in the "dangerous zone," and we can easily flip to the downside, but it was nice to see the price recovery around most cryptos...

Regarding HIVE, we hit 3.7 cents for the first time in history, which was pretty close to our "haircut" value for depegging HBD... That event did happen in the past, but back then the haircut percentage was much lower... From there, the price went up to 4.7 cents, which is "whooping" 25% up... Sounds good, but it is very far from our ATH, which will be very hard to replicate...
We had a lot of conversions from HBD to HIVE on these low HIVE prices, and that cost us a lot of newly "minted" HIVE tokens... We had a lot more tokens out there, and even if we would reach the same market cap we had before, the HIVE price wouldn't be where it was...
What did I change in my "HIVE behavior" because of all this? Well, as you can see, my recent power-ups aren't anymore 1K, but 2K... 😃 I mean, 1K HIVE is like $43... There is no better time to build up HivePower than now! I'm doing it by powering up additional HIVE, and by curating quality posts on HIVE... I do create posts too, but right now most of my HP comes from curating...
Back to the #HivePUD and HivePower accumulation!!! As I said, a lot of my accumulated HivePower comes from curating, and as I got back my 5K, which I delegated as a present at the last Hive meetup, my rewards are even bigger... Compounding effect is doing its thing... 💪

Including this power up, almost 4K accumulated during August...
Goal for the next HivePUD in October: 155K! Maybe I should aim 5K per month? That's a nice idea...

It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It all began with the great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork, and it is held on the 1st day of every month.

I still believe it's an alternative we need, but I also think we need to evolve and improve to continue to grow... We did it in the past; we can do it in the present and the future...
I recently returned to Hive, and I do Power Up. I see that doing them at the beginning of the month makes a difference, but I'm not sure. If you could tell me, I'd appreciate it.

As you can read in the link at the end of the post, #HivePUD is an initiative by Hivers who gather every 1st of the month to power up some HIVE... Those power-ups aren't "more valuable" than any other done on other days...
Participating and showing support toward the chain motivates others to do it too... Of course, having bigger HivePower gives better upvotes that support other users, friends, and the community diversification...

I haven't bought any crypto with fiat recently, so I can't help you with that... But I saw some ads for Kraken and OKX on TV, which should mean you can use them "legally" in the EU... I know they don't have HIVE, but you can always move tokens from one exchange to another... It is a hassle, but the EU is really trying hard to take crypto out of the continent...

Happy HPUD, and nice powerup. I am also thinking of converting my HBD into Hive, but I might wait until January to do so. I'll power up a portion of the Hive, and decide what to do with the rest later.
I converted all my HBD to HIVE, but probably a bit too early... 😂 Those 3.7-4 cents were a very nice price to do it... 😉

The 3.7 cent range may have been that bottom, but I won't jinx it, I think we might go back to 3 cents if another flash crash happens, but I want to be hopeful that the bottom may be in or we're closer to the bottom.

Most ALTs get capped around 50W MA, for HIVE thats sits around 0,08, hopefully we go higher before macro w2 retrace. 🤞
HL at 0.041 held, and now that price has taken out the W1 swing high, the daily structure is in W3 of a macro impulse targeting the 50W MA at 0.08. As long as the HL holds, structure remains intact, a daily close below it invalidates the count.🙏

I think the market will be up until mid-November if we continue to repeat the BTC 2022/23 fractal, we are in week 10 from BTC cycle low, we should see W4 retrace in alts with BTC in October and then the final W5 to complete the Macro W1 if the mirror continues 🙏 ->
Week 1-4 W1: 57.8k → 67k
Week 5 W2: HL 62.2k
Week 6-7 grind
Week 8–14 W3: Neckline rally (2022 → 25k, 2026 → ~80k)
Week 14–16 W4: Right‑shoulder retrace (2022 → 200D MA retest, 2026 → ~200D MA retest 69k+-)
Week 17+ W5: IH&S breakout → Reclaime 50W MA and complete Macro W1 90k+-

Happy HPUD! Powered up another 100 HP! I remembered last time even powering up 10 HP is a lot in USD terms, but now, like you said, the price of Hive is so low now, 100 HP is quite doable.
