Ourpick Reading Suggestions for April 28th
The OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem where quality posts are curated and authors are encouraged to continue with the content creation adding value to different communities, and Hive in general...

Created in Canva.com
Occasionally, we will pick a couple of awesome posts that we find interesting and will suggest them for your further reading... We hope that it will help authors as an additional promotion... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, but also in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes give additional value to the whole ecosystem and help authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...

What type of user are you? by @josediccus
When I did the last #HHHLive show, the main topic was content consumption as I was curious to see what people WANT to read and what they are CURRENTLY reading... I was expecting that people want to see more ordinary posts, selfies, the usual social network things, but I was surprised to see people want to read what is currently most popular... Travel posts, foodie posts, etc... I don't see it as a failure if there are a lot of posts like that, as they are WANTED!
We are moving the issue and pointing fingers at the content, trying to see more X than Y, while the issue isn't that... The real issue is to MONETIZE the content... If we were able to monetize content as big, traditional SM are doing, and, for example, burn tokens (or something else), it could be beneficial to everyone...

Prison escape in a book chest: The story of Loevestein castle by @friendlymoose
I love these kinds of places. Touring the buildings that have been the scene of events we know from books is fascinating. I can already see myself there imagining who could have sat and looked out of that small window, or as you say, feeling the emotion of stepping on the same bridge that Hugo escaped over. The castle is very different from those seen in Spain, but like all of them it is a fortress that seems impregnable... although it is not. It looks very well preserved and restored. I agree in valuing the educational message of tolerance and dialogue as weapons, museums do a fundamental work to understand the past that led to our present. Thank you for bringing us closer to this chapter of history.

Mouth of the Azul River in Lago Puelo - Desembocadura del Río Azul en Lago Puelo by @pablo1601
How much natural beauty Argentina has, how many landscapes with incredible views and how much to discover like those nature tunnels where they had to use the torches of the mobile phones.
Surely the colour of the blue river must be beautiful in the sunlight to appreciate it better, but it is still a marvel to see the natural state of the place and how they have enjoyed it as a family. That's the best thing of all.
I haven't seen anything of Argentina before I emigrated, but I'm sure I will at some point, for the moment I enjoy your great pictures of this spectacular place.

Explaining The Dapp List and why Voting matters by @coldbeetrootsoup
Thanks for this deep dive about The Dapp List and thanks for all your work on promoting HIVE there and all the other Web2 media! 🙏
Promoting HIVE out there and having it on as many places as possible is super important... And as we do have an active community, we could (and should) do better in that regard! Presenting HIVE, voting, and just being out there is a must!

My fight against cancer: EGFR Mutation (2025) [Esp/Eng] by @gerzon
Hi Yelmerzone, long time no hear from you. To focus on the positive I want to tell you that I am glad there is a treatment, although it is not the first option because it is not available in Venezuela, but the nodules have disappeared and that is a good sign. I always send you my good energy and my certainty that everything will go well.
Keep going, you are young and have a beautiful life, think good thoughts, you will see how the path to the solution will open up at every step.

Sequences - Burst photography in this is not easy by @nanixxx
I'll be honest I don't know anything about sports but I do know about art and taking such good pictures, so fast, where there are only seconds to react to the movements of sportsmen, that's not easy and you have achieved it. I understand why you miss taking this kind of pictures, it's a passion.
I can imagine the weight you had to carry and the pain in your back but your love for this overcame everything. It's interesting to see the movements when the athletes run or the gestures on their faces. I'm curious to know how many pictures you were allowed to take per publication.
