🍦✨ Learning to start a business from my daily perspective. // Aprendiendo a emprender desde mi punto de vista diario.

Good afternoon, everyone!

Today has been a complicated day, just like all the others, haha! But here we are, fulfilling our commitments. We started the morning selling some packages of ice pops and popsicles; some I delivered myself, and others were picked up at my workspace. The idea is to cover it all, haha!

With the money we earned, we covered the vehicle's gas expenses. You know, we have to feed the "baby" so it keeps moving us. Then, I went to the market to buy some supplies, since the entrepreneur's day is like this: we sell to replenish inventory and earn a bit. I confess it’s not easy; sometimes you feel like giving up, but the one who gets tired and gives up is the one who loses. That's why I keep pushing myself every day.

When I got home, I started preparing the chocolate and mantecado cones, but I didn’t have time to bag them before having to go out to deliver a new order. Thanks to God and to you all, who day by day support my craziness, which will soon be a success.

As I always say, my goal is to buy the popsicle-making machine; it’s incredible since it freezes the whole process in 30 minutes, and that’s what my body and soul need!

I want to remind you that to start a business, you just need to know how to do something; if you don’t know, learn. Make the decision and take the risk of doing it without fear of failure. Perhaps along the way you will fall several times, but as they say, the one who loses is the one who gives up. I bet all those magnates and business owners currently failed and learned many times from their mistakes to achieve the success they have now. That’s my goal: to make each day my ice cream mixture better than the last.

I recommend you take a piece of paper and write down the idea of what you want to do: for example, sell ice cream, create clothing designs, open a grocery store or shop as it is known in your country, start a mechanical workshop, repair, production… everything is valid when starting!

The second step is to find what you need to start: products, tools, money, premises, etc. Then, start doing, learning, and falling in love every day with what you have started. The third step, for me, is to advertise on social media, which is currently the most successful medium for promotion. As a fourth step, try to reach each customer with kindness and respect so that when everything comes together, you manage to win over the customer and they feel the desire to return to your business.

Saying this word does not downgrade your initiation, as there are many successes that still call themselves entrepreneurship. I’ll tell you that here in my locality, they opened a huge store, filled with everything you can imagine, and they called it entrepreneurship. And I, being skeptical, can’t believe it, haha!

So, with this, I want to tell you that there is no small entrepreneurship; success and failure depend only on you and your goals. Just one thing is very certain: you will learn that your friends and family will very rarely be your customers. Don’t ask me why; I just know it happens that way in our daily lives; they are the first to criticize and laugh at what we think of doing.

¡Buenas tardes a todos!

Hoy ha sido un día complicado, igual que todos, ¡jajaja! Pero aquí estamos, cumpliendo con nuestros compromisos. Iniciamos la mañana vendiendo algunos paquetes de cepihelados y paletas; algunos los llevé yo mismo y otros fueron retirados en mi espacio de trabajo. La idea es abarcarlo todo, ¡jajaja!

Con el dinero que ganamos, cubrimos el gasto de gasolina del vehículo. Ya saben, hay que alimentar al "bebé" para que siga moviéndonos. Luego, fui al mercado a comprar algunos insumos, ya que el día del emprendedor es así: vendemos para reponer inventario y ganar un poco. Les confieso que no es nada fácil; a veces dan ganas de rendirse, pero quien se cansa y se rinde es el que pierde. Por eso sigo esforzándome cada día.

Al llegar a casa, me puse a preparar las barquillas de chocolate y mantecado, pero no tuve tiempo de embolsarlas antes de salir a entregar un nuevo pedido. Gracias a Dios y a ustedes, que día a día apoyan mi locura, que pronto será un éxito.

Como siempre digo, mi meta es comprar la máquina elaboradora de paletas; es increíble, ya que congela todo el proceso en 30 minutos, ¡y es lo que mi cuerpo y alma necesitan!

Quiero recordarles que para emprender solo necesitas saber hacer algo; si no sabes, aprende. Toma la decisión y el riesgo de hacerlo sin miedo al fracaso. Quizás en el camino te caigas varias veces, pero como dicen, el que pierde es quien se rinde. Te apuesto que todos esos magnates y dueños de empresas actualmente fracasaron y aprendieron muchas veces de sus errores para llegar al éxito que tienen ahora. Ese es mi objetivo y meta: que cada día que elabore mi mezcla de helado sea mucho mejor que la anterior.

Te recomiendo tomar un papel y plantearte la idea de lo que quieres hacer: por ejemplo, vender helados, crear diseños de ropa, montar un abasto o tienda según sea conocido en tu país, iniciar un taller mecánico, reparación, producción… ¡todo es válido a la hora de iniciar!

El segundo paso es buscar lo necesario para comenzar: productos, herramientas, dinero, locales, etc. Luego, empieza a hacer, aprendiendo y enamorándote cada día de lo que has iniciado. El tercer paso, para mí, es hacer publicidad en las redes sociales, que actualmente es el medio más exitoso para promocionarse. Como cuarto paso, trata de llegar a cada cliente con amabilidad y respeto, para que cuando todo se una, logres enamorar al cliente y sienta deseos de regresar a tu emprendimiento.

Decir esta palabra no es rebajar tu iniciación, ya que hay muchos éxitos que aún siguen llamándose emprendimiento. Les cuento que aquí en mi localidad abrieron un comercio grandísimo, lleno de todo lo que te puedas imaginar, y a eso lo llamaron emprendimiento. Y yo, que de guatefo, no puedo creerlo, ¡jajaja!

Entonces, con esto quiero decirles que no hay emprendimiento pequeño; el éxito y el fracaso dependen solo de ti y de tus metas. Solo algo muy cierto: aprenderás que tus amigos y familiares muy pocas veces serán tus clientes. No me pregunten por qué, solo sé que pasa así en nuestra vida diaria; son los primeros en criticar y reírse de lo que pensamos hacer.
