The coffee floated out of my cup before I even took the first sip. You won't believe it, but the coffee splattered out as if something had exploded from the bottom of the cup. When I wiped my dripping face, I was stunned.
I looked around, and the people in the café were staring at me, puzzled. I checked the bottom of the cup, and there was nothing there... I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened because it was crazy.
"Is everything alright, sir?" said a waiter who came to clear the table.
I didn't know what to say; I felt very uncomfortable. I got up from my seat and took the money out of my pocket to put it on the table.
"Yes, yes... Just... Keep the change" I said nervously.
