Hello, Splinterlands fans. We’re back with another new episode of this series about my adventures in Splinterlands, one of the most popular games on Hive. I’ve only been playing for two months, and I still feel like I have a lot to learn. This is mainly because this game has so many sections, features, and areas to discover. That’s why I call it a whole world—it’s just that vast. For example, today I want to tell you about a new type of card that I “unlocked” recently.

My First Opening of the Gladius Case
In previous chapters, I’ve told you about the Guild Store in the guild I’m in (Bokura no Digital World), and now that I’m at Level 2, I can buy Gladius Cases. From what I understand, Gladius Cases are a different type of card pack that can be used in Brawls. However, unlike Frontier cards and Conclave Arcana cards, Gladius cards cannot be sold or transferred because they are bound to your soul forever. So, regardless of what I can’t do with them, I like the idea that I can use them in Brawls.
So now that I’ve “unlocked” a new type of card in Splinterlands, my desire—and my perfectionist need—to buy, collect, and acquire enough Gladius cards to build a better deck for future Brawl battles has kicked in. Of course, to do that, I’ll have to buy a good number of Gladius Cases over the next few weeks, so you’ll have to read my future posts where I’ll tell you about the different card openings I’ll be doing with the MERITS I earn in Brawls.

Before I wrap up, I’d like to share the results of the last Brawl I participated in alongside the other members of my Guild (Bokura no Digital World). However, I’m sorry to say that I didn’t manage to capture the final results of the Brawl in time. I’m referring to the number of wins and losses I had, which, as far as I recall, didn’t change much from the previous time. What I can show you, though, is what I earned as a reward in this Brawl: 557 MERITS and 21,233 SPS. Next time, I’ll be more careful to record the results.
