5 minute freewrite 2740 prompt knowledge

Today was a day of working on equipment. Both of the reels we used had something wrong so I had to change both of them. I did not like the line that was on the other reels so I had to take it off and reel the line from the bad reels onto them. Also one of the eyes was loose on my sister's rod and needed to be rewrapped. With all of my knowledge I wrapped one side the wrong way. It was hurting my bad hand and I was getting aggravated and when I saw what I did, I was more aggravated. The bottom part I did not get my wrap far enough to the eye and left it because by then I was close to tears from the pain.

My sister had a side job today so when she finished it she went to the fish house and got our ice for tomorrow. When she brought the ice here, she helped me fix the wrap on the eye of the pole, I was going to leave it because I had had my fill of messing with it.

When we finished that, she helped me put the ice in the cooler in the boat, she had ice in a smaller cooler and I was shoveling it into the big cooler on the boat. She said, let's just dump it. We tilted the cooler to dump the ice and the lid closed on my bad hand, I still have an indent in my pointing finger. Yes, it hurt. She tells me I have a delayed reaction to pain because I did not do anything when it happened. I told her I was in so much pain that I could not move or say anything for a few seconds. But I made up for it when I got my hand out of the cooler lid.

I cut this desert rose back 3 months ago and only noticed the blooms on it today. My daughter wanted to put the swimming pool back up so she moved all of my desert roses. I do not like how jammed together she put them but have not had the time to separate them. Today I started moving them further apart and putting some of them next to the house. Desert roses need air flow so I need to get the rest of them spread out before a fungus gets to them, but I ran out of steam, they will need to wait for another day.
