Delicioso almuerzo: arroz Chino, ensalada, carne molida y queso [ESP/ENG]

Delicious Lunch: Chinese Rice, Salad, Ground Beef, and Cheese
Good evening, my dear and cherished friends who read my posts in the @hivefood community. It’s a pleasure to greet you all. Welcome to my blog.

Today I’m stopping by this community once again to share a delicious traditional lunch prepared with lots of love and care for all of us missionaries serving in the Monte Carmelo community.
For this lunch, I prepared: 2 cups of white rice, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 100 grams of chicken breast, some scallions, sweet peppers, 5 cloves of garlic, 3 tablespoons of oil, and salt to taste.

First, I took a pot, placed it on the stove with the oil, and sautéed all the seasonings with the chicken breast cut into tiny cubes, stirring until everything was well combined and seared, then I added the rice and soy sauce, stirred well, added 4 cups of water, salt, and a small can of sweet corn, covered it, and let it cook for 15 minutes. I uncovered it, tasted it, covered it again, let it cook for 10 minutes, turned off the heat, and set it aside.
I also put the ground beef in another skillet or pot with 1 cup of water and let it cook for 10 minutes; I added white onion, sweet pepper, 4 crushed garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon of oil, 1/2 bouillon cube, a pinch of cumin, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, and one tomato diced into small cubes, and let it cook until a slightly thickened sauce forms.

Then I find a bowl, chop the red cabbage, and grate the carrot. I add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of sugar, mix it all together well, and set it aside.
I sautéed the slices of ripe plantain and plated them, grated some cheese on top, and said, “Enjoy your meal!” To drink, I made a delicious lemonade. Everyone loved the lunch even though I prepared it as quickly as possible, using just a few ingredients—since on a mission, everything is prepared quickly with whatever we have on hand.
That’s all for now. I hope you enjoyed this post, and I’ll see you again in my next one. God bless you all—big hugs.
