I'm feeling that very same way at the moment. I used to avoid news for this reason and that worked for a long time, but it's hard to avoid now with social media added into the mix as well. It wouldn't stress me so much if it was just my husband and myself, but it's horrible to see how it causes so much worry for my young adult daughter with the way these uncertain times and negative reporting steal hopes for the future from her.
Reporting affects behaviour in so many people as well. First they were reporting that people should rush to fill up with fuel before prices went up due to the war causing disruption, which caused panic buying and people stocking up. Now they report on that behaviour as being bad because it's causing more shortages and people start blaming each other for it. I hate it because I see the patterns, but many don't and are carried away. What may not have been too much of a problem has now become the problem people feared because of news reports driving emotional responses instead of sensible ones.
well it’s a very crazy situation and nobody cares about our mental health especially the government. I hope the world becomes better soon
