I get the feeling of spending glint as well because I buy a few cards every season. Are you focusing on rare cards? I went for epics because they are far less common from advancement chests.

It takes quite a while to earn more Glint, but I think it starts to get harder once you hit Silver. You just reminded me that the season is ending soon, and I need to get my modern fights in.

I saw the new UI, and I think it is quite nice as well. It did take some time to get use to where the things are though.

It's tough with Hive due to the issues with the DHF. It's slowly burning away due to how mismanaged it is. I am not buying anything right now as I just watch for now.
