It's the last Saturday of the year, and we should give thanks to God for so many things. It has been a year of new experiences, and I continue to grow in Hive as well, and I am happy and grateful.

Hoy quiero compartir mi última decoración del año con motivo navideño, se trata de un nacimiento elaborado en limpiapipas, me fuese gustado compartir antes pero debido algunas circunstancias no se pudo, así que lo terminé hace poco y hoy les muestro como quedó. Este nacimiento es pequeño por lo que consta de las figuras principales María, José y Jesús.

Today I want to share my last Christmas decoration of the year: a nativity scene made from pipe cleaners. I would have liked to share it sooner, but due to some circumstances, I couldn't. So I finished it recently, and today I'm showing you how it turned out. This nativity scene is small, so it only includes the main figures: Mary, Joseph, and Jesus.

It's a great idea if you don't have a nativity scene and want to make one yourself. There are lots of knitted ideas on Pinterest, and I used this one as a guide. I really liked how it turned out. I'd love to know what you think and if you'd like to try making one. Below are the materials and step-by-step instructions.

Paso a paso / Step by step

Comencé con María, pero antes con papel aluminio voy a realizar las partes del cuerpo como lo es cabeza y torso, utilizando papel aluminio. Enrollamos precio los limpiapipas en un palillo para dar el efecto de peluche.

Cubrimos la primera pieza de aluminio que es la cara con limpiapipas color piel, luego realicé el cabello con el mismo color de limpiapipas y colocamos sombra de color marrón para obtener un tono claro. Ahora vamos con el cuerpo.

I started with Maria, but first, using aluminum foil, I'm going to make the body parts, like the head and torso. We'll wrap the pipe cleaners around a toothpick to give it a plush effect.

We cover the first piece of aluminum foil, which is the face, with skin-colored pipe cleaners. Then I made the hair with the same color pipe cleaners and added brown shading to get a lighter tone. Now let's move on to the body.

Realicé la ropa que será un vestido en color rosa, para esto cortamos pequeñas piezas de limpiapipas y vamos pegando sobre el aluminio, luego por dentro colocamos una pieza circular de limpiapipas para sostener y dar forma redonda a la porción final del vestido.

I made the clothes, which will be a pink dress. For this, we cut small pieces of pipe cleaners and glued them onto the aluminum. Then, inside, we placed a circular piece of pipe cleaner to support and give a round shape to the final portion of the dress.

Luego de haber cubierto todo colocamos un limpiapipas en el borde inferior, seguido de ellos colocamos el limpiapipas en color dorado, en la parte superior del borde también cubrimos, luego realicé sus brazos con limpiapipas rosa y color piel, pegamos.

After covering everything, we placed a pipe cleaner on the bottom edge, followed by the gold-colored pipe cleaner. We also covered the top of the edge, then made its arms with pink and skin-colored pipe cleaners, and glued them on.

Ahora unimos ambas partes cabeza y vestido, luego realizamos el velo en color blanco, solo debes cubrir la parte trasera y al rededor colocamos un limpiapipas blanco brillante. Por último los ojos con limpiapipas negro y colocamos color en las mejillas.

Now we join the head and dress pieces, then we make the veil in white, covering only the back, and around it we place a bright white pipe cleaner. Finally, we make the eyes with black pipe cleaners and add color to the cheeks.

Para realizar a José es el mismo procedimiento anterior solo que reemplace los colores, el cabello en color marrón y barba, para la vestimenta usé limpiapipas color verde.

To make José, the procedure is the same as before, only I replaced the colors: the hair is brown and the beard, and for the clothing I used green pipe cleaners.

Realicé sus brazos y colocamos el detalle en color piel sobre la vestimenta, en el centro un limpiapipas color dorado, unimos cabeza y cuerpo, luego realicé sus ojos.

I made her arms and we placed the skin-colored detail on the clothing, in the center a gold-colored pipe cleaner, we joined the head and body, then I made her eyes.

Por último voy a realizar al niño Jesús, para esto voy a cubrir un pequeña círculo de color piel que será la cabeza, también el torso en color blanco, pegamos y luego cubrimos toda la figura con limpiapipas blanco como si estuviera cubierto con una manta.

Finally, I'm going to make the baby Jesus. For this, I'm going to cover a small skin-colored circle that will be the head, and also the torso in white. We glue it and then cover the whole figure with white pipe cleaners as if it were covered with a blanket.

Para el cajón donde va acostado cortamos una tira de foami de color marrón, unimos las puntas y colocamos el mecatillo al rededor del foami, y listo, de esta forma terminé mi nacimiento en limpiapipas, espero les haya gustado el resultado, muchísimas gracias por el apoyo.

For the drawer where it lies, we cut a strip of brown foam, joined the ends, and placed the twine around the foam. And that's it! This is how I finished my pipe cleaner nativity scene. I hope you liked the result. Thank you so much for your support.
