In 2025, Bitcoin (BTC) and XRP have experienced notable but differing performance trends. Bitcoin started the year at $ 93,000, reached an all-time high of $109,071 in January but has since dropped by 24%, stabilizing around $83,000 for a year-to-date drop of 11%.
In contrast, XRP started the year at $2.08, surged to $3.38 in January but has since fallen by 32.5%, settling around $2.28. Despite this, XRP has outperformed Bitcoin in 2025, showing a 10% year-to-date gain
In summary, Bitcoin continues to be volatile, while XRP looks more solid, driven by adoption and regulatory developments.
