Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was a long and active day. It started early when we had to get to the airport very early for our first flight. In spite of a few delays, the journey went fine overall, and early afternoon we made it to Detroit. Next thing to do as quick as possible: pick up Kaia. Done quickly and without a problem at all: Kaia and Le Chat were all back home. But photos will have to wait because the main event of the day was the concert at Comerica Park in Detroit: Iggy Pop and My Chemical Romance!
We arrived there for once in time, but the crowd was so big (over 45000 people if i understood correctly), it took for over to actually get into the stadium. The view while in the line to get in was already kinda cool
But unfortunately that made us miss the first few minutes of Iggy Pop set. And finally, the legend!
The guy is 79, and stull very talented. The set was short, about 45 minutes, but full of hits and energy.
The infamous 'I wanna be your dog' for the early Stooges was just perfect!
And when darkness came upon the stadium, it made it even cooler.
Overall a really cool set, Iggy Pop is older but the raw energy from many years ago is still there indeed!
And then My Chemical Romance.
I'm going to be honest, I don't know them that much, and I thought the major component of the show was Iggy Pop but I was completely wrong. Very good show with pyro, fireworks and great production!
First time in a very long time I see an audience so into it, with every single person seemingly knowing all lyrics AND singing them at the top of their lungs! Such a cool thing to see!
And the Detroit view in the night was still very cool of course.
They played almost half their set from a 'Stage B', that was original too.
And that was it. In spite of being very tired from the trip, the show was really good and we really enjoyed it. Bonus: a very strong storm started just minutes after we got to the car, felt very lucky not to be caught in it!

I'm not one for crowds to be honest but it sounds like a great concert i love My Chemical Romance sounds like fun activity have the best one @manuvert
