LEN - Burn Break

Today's Liotes News edition is going to be very short. I'm on holidays in Türkiye at the moment and I honestly prefer to sit at the pool than to work. I hope you understand that ;-)

However, there is an important piece of information that I would like to communicate regarding the Liotes project. The reward pool linked to the liquidity pool LEN:LENM is going to run out in exactly 63 days. To boost the coming rewards for this pool, we have decided with @ph1102 that we would make a burn break for the remaining 9 weeks. This means that instead of simply burning the LEN tokens, something we do on a weekly basis, we will put these tokens anside for the coming reward pool. We hope that we will be able to collect around 4000 LEN tokens like that. This is something that we did last year as well and we realised that this quantity of tokens, released over a whole year doesn't generate much sell pressure on the market.

We believe that at this moment, it's more important to be able to provide a high return for liquidity providers than to reach our burn quota at all costs. Also, we have realised that people enjoy getting LEN tokens as rewards in this pool because it allowed them to increase their position in the pool organically and on a regular basis.

We hope that you agree with us and that you will get ready to enjoy the nice return in our diesel pool ;-). By the way, because of the price drop of hive, the APR in the LEN:LENM pool went up to 29.612% this week, which is probably the highest value in a long time...

There will probably be no Liotes mission this week but next week, everything should be back to normal.
