Sé que todos pensamos que un mínimo detalle nos puede cambiar el día, todos hablamos de cómo una sonrisa o un simple saludo transforma nuestro estado de ánimo y nada menos cierto que eso.

Me considero esa persona que siempre intenta alegrar a los demás, me encanta ver como un rostro preocupado o triste se puede convertir en uno feliz y ligero. Aprendí a escuchar y a estar cuando se me necesita pero soy pésima contando mis problemas y si lo hago es a modo resumen para acabar el tema rápido.

Hoy fue uno de esos días que desperté con ganas de no "despertar", quería seguir durmiendo felizmente sin preocupaciones pero no se pudo. Quedé con una amiga para ir a ver algunos locales donde estaban buscando dependientas porque a las dos nos hace falta trabajar.

Al primer lugar que fuimos ya no necesitaban trabajadoras porque estaban completos. En la otra opción que teníamos era para trabajar 24 horas y prácticamente sin descanso, me pareció un horario agotador y pues no aceptamos. Caminamos por algunos otros un poco más distantes pero sin ningún resultado.

Toda la mañana perdida en trasladarnos de un lugar a otro para que resultara en vano, en medio de la situación me sentía mal y desanimada. Yesi (mi amiga) se sentía de la misma manera, ella necesitaba el trabajo más que yo dado que su familia es numerosa y a veces discrepan por situaciones económicas y miles de problemas más.

Conversaba con ella a la vez que intentaba darle esperanzas de que pronto tendríamos un trabajo, mi objetivo era animarla un poco. Al final la que resultó animada fui yo, ella tenía un detalle para mí, era un anillito igual al que ella tiene, me dijo que así las dos tendríamos uno igual y eso reafirmaba la amistad.

En realidad nunca lo esperé y menos de ella que es de esas amigas que sabes que siempre está pero no lo demuestra ni con detalles ni con gestos de cariño. A parte de que amé el detalle, me conmovió demasiado el gesto, porque demuestra que pensó en mí y sin saberlo me lo dio en el momento justo porque cambió totalmente mi estado de ánimo.

Siempre quiero ser la que ayuda, la que anima, la que apoya, pero siento que la vida me dice : espera, tómate un descanso que los demás también tienen cosas lindas para ti. Con esto no me refiero a lo material sino a aquellas personas que te sacan una sonrisa en el momento que más la necesitabas.

Me quedé todo el día pensando en que hay quienes están sobreviviendo a sus propios problemas pero hacen un espacio en su caos para darle paz a los demás y eso es algo digno de admirar. El error está en pensar que la persona que da un detalle y ayuda a que no te sientas desanimada es porque tiene su vida perfecta y en calma pero la realidad es totalmente distinta.

Al final nuestra salida no fue placentera ni resultó como esperábamos pero los días no se miden por lo que sale mal, sino por los gestos que nos devuelven la sonrisa.

I know we all think that a little detail can change our day, we all talk about how a smile or a simple greeting transforms our mood and nothing less true than that.

I consider myself that person who always tries to make others happy, I love to see how a worried or sad face can become a happy and light one. I learned to listen and be there when I'm needed but I suck at telling my problems and if I do it's as a summary to finish the topic quickly.

Today was one of those days that I woke up wanting not to "wake up", I wanted to continue sleeping happily without worries but it was not possible. I met up with a friend to go to some places where they were looking for saleswomen because we both need to work.

The first place we went they didn't need workers anymore because they were full. The other option we had was to work 24 hours and practically without rest, I found it an exhausting schedule and so we did not accept. We walked through some others a little more distant but without any result.

The whole morning lost in moving from one place to another so that it turned out in vain, in the middle of the situation I felt bad and discouraged. Yesi (my friend) felt the same way, she needed the job more than me since her family is large and sometimes they disagree about economic situations and thousands of other problems.

I was talking to her while trying to give her hope that we would have a job soon, my goal was to cheer her up a little. In the end the one who turned out to be animated was me, she had a detail for me, it was a little ring just like the one she has, she told me that so we would both have the same one and that reaffirmed the friendship.

In reality I never expected it and even less from her who is one of those friends that you know she is always there but she doesn't show it either with details or with gestures of affection. Apart from loving the detail, I was too moved by the gesture, because it shows that he thought of me and unknowingly gave it to me at the right moment because it totally changed my mood.

I always want to be the one who helps, the one who encourages, the one who supports, but I feel that life tells me: wait, take a break that others also have nice things for you. By this I do not mean the material but those people who get a smile out of you at the moment you needed it the most.

I stayed all day thinking that there are those who are surviving their own problems but make a space in their chaos to give peace to others and that is something worthy of admiration. The mistake is to think that the person who gives a detail and helps you not to feel discouraged is because he has a perfect and calm life but the reality is totally different.

In the end our departure was not pleasant or turned out as we expected but the days are not measured by what goes wrong, but by the gestures that return our smile.
