I Disappeared From Hive for 30 Days, This Is What Coming Back Feels Like
It has been more than one month since my last post on Hive, and to be honest, coming back was not as easy as I thought it would be.
When I stayed away for that long, I started feeling like I was starting all over again. The connection I had with people, the routine of writing, the joy of checking my notifications, everything suddenly became silent. At first I told myself it was just a short break, but days turned into weeks without me even noticing.
Life outside the blockchain became very busy. Work, personal challenges and trying to figure out some things in my offline life took my full attention. Each time I wanted to write, I kept saying “I will do it tomorrow.” That tomorrow kept moving.
But one thing I noticed during my break is this, Hive is not just a platform where we post and earn. It is a place that teaches discipline.
When you stop showing up, you feel the difference.
Coming back today gave me a strange feeling. It feels like walking into a room where people already know you, but you are not sure if they still remember your name. That small fear was there. I kept asking myself, will my posts still be seen? Will people still engage with me?
Then I remembered something very important: everyone on Hive grows at their own pace.
This one month taught me a lot about consistency. Growth on Hive is not about rushing. It is about showing up again and again, even when you don’t feel like it. Even when the votes are small. Even when you think nobody is looking.
Because someone is always looking.
Another thing I learned is that taking a break is not failure. Sometimes you need to step back to understand why you started in the first place.
I started Hive because I wanted a space where my voice matters, where my effort is rewarded, and where I can connect with people from different parts of the world. That reason is still the same.
So this post is not just a comeback post.
It is a new beginning for me.
I am no longer chasing fast results. I am focusing on building real connections, supporting others, and improving my content step by step.
If you are reading this and you have ever felt like giving up or you stayed away for some time, I just want to say, it is okay to start again. The blockchain is still here. Your journey is still valid.
I am back, and this time I am here with a better mindset. Let’s grow together.
