Finding activity in inactivity

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I last wrote a post here, and I have been thinking about what to write as my first post just coming back today.

After being inactive for a while, I realized that I have actually done quite a lot during that time, even though I wasn't writing about it here, and it's been a wonderful time.

One of the main things I have been spending time on is digital marketing, and i have always been interested in the online space, but recently I have been paying more attention to the practical side of it. Things like finding potential clients, lead generation, sales, social media, and how businesses actually get customers online, there is a big difference between learning something and actually trying to use it, when you are learning, everything can look simple. You watch a video, read an article, or take a course, and you feel like you understand it.

Then you have to actually do the work
That is where things become different.

I have had experiences where something I thought would work didn't work at all. I have also had situations where something simple worked better than something I had spent a lot of time preparing.

I think those experiences have taught me to pay more attention to results instead of just trying to make everything look perfect, spoiler alert! Nothing is.

Another thing I have learned is that consistency is harder than motivation any day.

It is easy to feel motivated when you are starting something new. You have ideas, plans, and a lot of energy.

The difficult part is continuing when things become slow.

That is something I am still working on.

Coming back to Hive is actually part of that for me. I want to get back into the habit of writing and sharing what I am learning instead of keeping everything in my head.

I don't think every experience has to become a big lesson. Sometimes you simply try something, it doesn't work, and you move on.
Sometimes you meet someone who teaches you something without even realizing it.

Sometimes you make a mistake and understand what you should have done differently the next time, those small experiences add up.

I also want my posts this time to be more practical. I want to share things I am actually doing and learning instead of just writing about things I have read somewhere.

There will probably be posts about freelancing, digital marketing, lead generation, sales, finding clients, and some of the mistakes I have made along the way.

I am still figuring things out, so I don't want to present myself as someone who has everything figured out.

I'm learning as I go. For now, I am just happy to be writing again. One post at a time.

And hopefully, as I continue, I will have more experiences worth sharing.

Let's see how it goes.
